This sensor bar will suffice for anyone in need of a quick Wii and Wii U replacement. The USB plug-and-play function is flawless and performs as expected. However, if you want to use this bar on a computer for Dolphin, you'll need a second power supply. Because it is expected to draw five people. 7 volts. Simply connect it to a USB wall adapter rather than your computer, and you're ready to go.
This was purchased specifically for use with the Dolphin emulator for Windows. I'm happy to report that it DOES WORK, as long as you can connect your Wii remote to your PC via Bluetooth. I had no intention of paying $50 for a drink at the "official" Dolphin Bar.
It's just like the real thing. Because the Wii is on the other side of the room from the stereo equipment, I used this. br>br>Sticky tape it to the top or bottom of the television (depending on your setup). Connect it to the TV from behind. You might be able to use your TV's USB jack instead of the USB charger block if it has one. It's very simple and quick.
I couldn't get Windows 10 to work on my PC. This was a strange situation. brand sensor bar that would not work with a Nintendo brand controller or an off-brand controller. I wasn't sure if it only worked on computers with older versions of Windows. I finally decided on a Dolphin Bar that would work on a PC, as Mayflash described.
Works great, but only with a real Wii remote. In the dolphin emulator, go to the real Wii remote settings and enable continuous scanning, and you'll be able to play Wii games on your computer using the Wii bar.
I attached this sensor bar to my television so that it would be powered by the television and no wires would be visible. Except for the jittery aiming of the sensor bar, everything about it is perfect. With my Pixel 4, I photographed the infrared LEDs, and you can see that the original sensor bar has five LEDs on each side, all of which have a great viewing angle. This sensor bar has three LEDs on each side, each with a limited viewing angle. The sensor bar makes it difficult to hit precise targets. I would not purchase this item again.
This is a fantastic method. Because I'm connecting it to a television, I'm simply using the TV's USB port to power it. It picks up all of my Wii remote's motions with ease, and the thin cable makes it easy to conceal.
Excellent, and exactly as described.
