Three infrared lights are located on the front of each side of the Sensor Bar to assist the Wii Remote in triangulating its position. Perform the following steps to see these lights: br>
1. Ascertain that the system is turned on and that the Sensor Bar is connected to the console. Once it's fully inserted, you'll hear a click.

3. On both sides of the Sensor Bar, you can see the three infrared lights.

It was badly wrapped in its packaging when I received it. It didn't work at all, and I discovered that only one side worked with the help of my camera. The Mayflash w010 comes highly recommended by me. This is a cheap knockoff, so don't waste your money on it.
This product does exactly what it says it will. It's ready to use right out of the box, and the stand is a nice addition. Given the state of emulators, it's difficult to say if the bar is perfect, but it behaves very similarly to, if not identically to, the Wii. This is a product that I would recommend.
As advertised, there is no USB port on this device. It's only the Wii's exclusive version.
This one came with the standard Wii controller, not the USB one.
It works after you plug it into a USB port and turn on your Wii, Wii U, or PC. (as long as your PC software is set up correctly).
Excellent replacement, works perfectly, is reasonably priced, and isn't flimsy or easily cracked.
It was a USB cord, so there were no batteries.
