Selected User Reviews For Old Skool GameCube and Wii Compatible 64MB Memory Card with 1019 Blocks
Thus far, everything seems to be going well. Rather than digging through old 251 cards, I just pulled out the GC for the kids (Pikmin. The card with the full image was full, the card with the empty image was partially filled. It just occurred to me a couple of weeks ago that the WII supports games for the GameCube. What the heck. Previously, I did not know this, how could I have missed this? In any case, I thought a third memory card may be helpful in backing up my saves and being able to use it on the Wii. After plugging this into my computer, I was able to copy over my saved files, and so far, it appears to be working as expected.
As a result, an error message informed users that this device could not be utilized. It took a lot of trying for the card to finally be detected, but I was finally able to just barely slide it in if I gently pressed in the card. In tests I have done with game saves, I have found that any saves I created or migrated over from a smaller capacity official Nintendo memory card have become corrupt and are Even though I hadn't touched the memory card since I had set it into place, the GameCube eventually became unable to recognize it again. As a result, I would not buy this card again. I would rather use a refurbished official Nintendo memory card or hope for a quality 3rd party product.
The Fire Emblem series was bought by me in 2021 so I could complete it. For the first time, I played Path of Radiance (using a Wii). There was some concern that maybe my unlicensed 3rd party memory card might cause issues, however, I am happy to report that I played the entire game without any Old Skool's officially licensed memory card was reasonably priced, brand new, and not trying to pass itself off as a counterfeit, so I chose it since it was reasonably priced, brand new, and not attempting to pass itself off as a counterfeit.
Perfectly compatible with our system and does the job it's supposed to. No problems with the card so far. So far, I've had no errors while using it, I've read it fine, and no formatting was necessary. This save card is a great addition to any old PlayStation save card player and appears in the console with the space it has stated. It does fit in the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo GameCube just fine. The only thing I don't like is that it's a bit smaller than the original card in height, but that's a small complaint.
Our Nintendo Wii is perfectly able to save Pokemon games from the GameCube. So far, no problems have been encountered. The device has been in my possession for about three months.
The program can save progress when emulating memory cards is turned off, and this memory card is inserted in slot A. You can also use the gamecube microphone that came with Mario Party 7 in the slot that is reserved for memory cards. The fact that it stores so much information is also very nice.
I can't keep a file on it even though the card works. I used it numerous times every day, and after doing so I had to save and delete files every.
