The mat does not seem to be very thick, but it feels thick enough to make it comfortable enough for me to use it for my workouts which last about an hour with the mat. If you use it longer, you might not find it comfortable enough, but I find it to be enough for me. It was not possible for me to be more active.

Weight and balance are measured with the balance board. It is okay to use the yoga mat (or something similar) if you wish For those of you with carpet, it may not be necessary to have a mat, but for those of us with hardwood floors, it is.

I have a daughter who participates in a swim team where they practice dry land before events. The other day, she told me she lost her yoga mats at the pool, so I ordered these in their place. On the day next, she finds her original yoga mats at the lost and found, so instead of returning it, I decided to use it for stretching and yoga. There is a little bit more weight to these mats than higher priced mats, but they do the same thing (like providing traction) as thicker ones. As it is thinner, I think it might not last as long as higher priced ones, but after months of use in the pool, I usually pick up new mats because of the smell of sweat or mildew, rather than because they are worn out. A $5 donation would be appreciated. With a price of just 99 cents, it's a good deal.

There are similar mats that cost $10. It just isn't worth the price difference. Although the mat is comfortable if you are using it on a carpet, I'd highly recommend finding something thicker like a floor mat since this mat is only about 1 cm.
In order to provide the family with the opportunity to practice yoga, we built a yoga room. There is no way you can imagine just how expensive some of these mats can be. In the same way as a thin yoga mat, my wife refused to use her beloved yoga mats for this, so we needed something that could go on our hardwood flooring underneath the board. As would be expected of a yoga mat, it does its job. Since it's a thin item, making it only suitable for carpet, I recommend using it only.
