As far as using it with the Wii U console itself, you would use the wii remotes for each extra player. The game console is always in the hands of my son, but for my daughters & son it isn't A remote is inserted in the steering wheel and I begin playing These are the ones you should use. Suitable for 8 to 18 year olds Rather than make Mario Kart so boring, this made the game so much fun for 9-year-olds! It's really easy to just plug in the remotes and start playing! While they're not as impressive as other accessories out there, this is definitely a great buy (especially because it's priced so low compared to other accessories) if you're a little kid or an adult looking to add more fun to your I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. I was genuinelly pleased with the sellers (Gamers house) and was pleased with the product. This purchase is a great value for the price and the customer service is outstanding.
With the set of wheels I got, the only downside is that you can't point at the screen when using the steering wheel to control the Wii. I have to take the steering wheel off to do something that needs the pointer instead of using the wheel controls etc. I assume this is due to the black steering wheel I noticed the plastic around the controller's sensor is very dark, I assume this works well with the black wheels I bought. There is only one issue, but I would like to make that clear. But, aside from that, the control seems to work fine. The best part of it all was that they arrived Sunday evening after ordering on Friday night. It was a happy day for my kids.
