It works for me when I'm playing Lego Rock Band.
"Rock Band 1 and Band Hero are excluded," it says. I don't believe so.
It should be compatible with all rock band games, as well as some guitar hero games, I believe.
For the guitar, you'll need a Wii Mote, which is included with the Wii system.

After a few days of deliberation, I purchased this guitar and have been playing clone hero ever since! I haven't played a real Les Paul GH3 guitar in a long time, but I believe they are very similar. At the very least, this guitar hasn't let me down. The buttons, as well as the strum bar and every other button/toggle on it, feel fine. I would not have hesitated to buy this guitar if I hadn't known it wasn't the official one! I adore it, and it works flawlessly with the Raphnet adapter I purchased for my laptop.
Because of the mixed reviews, I took a chance and ordered this product, and I'm glad I did. I bought two of these guitars for my Wii and am very pleased with them. My guitars were brand new, with all the extras like dongles. My only issue was that one of the guitar's yellow buttons was broken, but I was able to repair it myself by opening it up and replacing it. a short-term fix Overall, the guitars are excellent and I am pleased with the product; however, I did not give it five stars because the button was broken and I had to repair it myself. br>br>On the other hand, many reviewers claimed that they ordered new guitars but received used guitars that were missing the dongles. It's possible that this is a long shot. However, when I placed my order, I chose new from the "new and used" options. As a result, it's possible that's why I got two brand new guitars. I hope this information is useful to someone.
Brand new in the box, fully functional, clean, undamaged, and complete. Smooth performance with low latency. The buttons and strum bar are new and crisp, with a tight actuation that makes them responsive and steady. Sliding on the buttons is more difficult than on an Xplorer, for example, because the buttons are slightly less rounded on the edges and feel a tad higher from the neck (this could just be due to wear on my Xplorer and the fact that this guitar is brand new). The neck is securely attached to the body, but there is some play and it can move back and forth. Personally, I haven't noticed a difference in my gameplay because the way I hold/use the controller causes no movement of the neck (which shouldn't be an issue). If you're going to use it with the Raphnet adapter, be aware that most third-party Wii guitar controllers will not work with Clone Hero natively (as the branded ones should). To map the controls for Clone Hero, you'll need to use a program like JoyToKey (it's free, and it works great). All-inclusive br>br> Overall, this is a good value for the money, and I hope it lasts a long time!.
Despite reading the reviews, I decided to purchase it. A huge blunder! I spent a lot of time looking for the best Wii guitar, but I couldn't find one. I'm curious if the Wii remote is available in different sizes. Because the only way I could get my remote into this guitar was to enlarge the hole. Such a letdown.
Everything seemed normal when the FIRST guitar arrived, and it played fine for about 2-hours. It would only last 3 hours before it stopped working in the morning- As a result, we received two It's been 3 hours since the first one. We requested a replacement and sent it back. The second one came without a strap and was dented. I was dissatisfied with the keys because they were sloppy and (at times) unresponsive. This company is not one that I would recommend. We've also returned the second one. Bummer.
This is a great value for the money, but it suffers from the same design flaw as the official Les Paul-styled GH guitar controllers, with the neck not seating fully and dropping notes on occasion. br>br>I couldn't get the face plate off; sections of it would start to rise, then bend in the middle, so I'm guessing it's glued on. The rest of it is fine, and I use it in Clone Hero.
There was no white facing on the front of the guitar, and there was no back panel to hide the Wii remote. Worst of all, all of the wires in the cable that connects to the Wii remote were severed. I'm completely messed up.
I recently returned to Guitar Hero and discovered that my old guitar was having serious issues, so I bought this guitar because it was Amazon's choice, assembled it, and started playing Smash Hits on my old Wii. I go to quickplay and select Hard Difficulty for Through the Fire and Flames. The blue button did not work, so I quickly failed. This has made me extremely sad and disappointed, so I will be returning the item.
