My older Nintendo Wavebird feels just like this thing, and it operates almost as well as it does. Before I go on, I would like to say I am an avid smash and wavebird user. It still holds up really well and commands high prices for a working unit. While this is a cheaper alternative and seems to link well, it's not the best unit out there. The channel does not need to be switched. In places where it falls, it is stiff and cheap- Not as good as the controller for the gamecube (although it's unfortunately it does not work with the Dolphin emulator for laptop/PC gaming with the may flash adapter. I have managed to get my Wavebird to do this with some port tweaking. Please do check out this alternative to the Wii/Gamecube if you're looking for a cheaper alternative to it. Do not watch if you're a Smash fan or you like to play on a computer.
