Questions & Answers
It is not necessary to use a special adapter. A cord plugs into the hole below the plastic cover on the top of the Wii. You must own an older or first edition Wii in order to participate. The earlier versions of the Wii do not have a place where the mat can be plugged in.

A replacement was quickly sent out by Amazon (nice job by the online retailer), but that mat as well didn't work. Since then, it has been returned for refund, and it is on its way back to us. The DDR2 mats that this brand produces don't work with the Wii, and friends are reporting that it does not work with this mat. Our pick for a mat is the Konami brand, as it is supposed to be the exact mat that ships with the game. It's hard to find and a bit more expensive.
I would not change anything.
There is no compatibility with the WII with these There is a difference between connectors inside and outside If we view plugs from the electrical connection perspective, they are different. The older pad works perfectly so we could compare it to the newer pad. If you look inside the connectors, it is very clear where the design flaw is.
A quality product While it's not a bad product, after playing DDR for something like 30 hours, I started to feel the need for a more durable product. The problem is that Intec isn't allowed to address it AREA OF COMPATIBILITY A friend of mine picked this up for me For my birthday party, I waited until the last minute. There is no way to register moves from the mat. It is recognized by the video game, but it is not able to input steps. There's a good chance this is something to do with the game and not the mat, but I just wanted to let you know that THIS MAT WILL NOT WORK This game works on a Wii, despite its box stating "for Wii". Konami, you should be ashamed for ripping off your fans in this way.
This mat came in the same package as the DDR game my girlfriend ordered. Cheap plastic makes the mat look and smell bad It's still stinky in the basement den three days after it was cleaned. There is nothing aesthetically pleasing about the cheap zippers that enclose the foam pad. Our first mat broke as we were trying to assemble it carefully. There wasn't a zipper on the bottom, but the zipper on the top was nice After being excruciatingly careful (me holding edges together while she slowly zipped), the second plastic zipper The disgust we felt was overwhelming. Since both ends of the zipper are molded into plastic, it is not possible to rethread it. The cheap product failed to operate with our Wii even though we thought we'd test it on plain carpet without the foam pad - we were surprised (no, not really) at how poorly it performed. There is an incompatibility between the two systems. I don't know who bundled these items at Amazon, but it was stupid. I'll finish with one last There are no batteries included (4 must be purchased separately). I DO NOT recommend that you purchase!.
