You can plug it into one of the four ports of the device if you open the top cover. There is no way to get it if you own the first Wii, not the Wii U

Upon closer inspection, I found that my mat has an issue with the plug having to be pushed into the gamecube port super hard before it works. There's no rhyme or reason to this, but it happens on the real Wii ports and from the Wiimote as well These adapters let you play with the GameCube. Due to the fact that the mat is no longer in the exchange period, I used a rubber band to secure it. I gave this mat three stars, but I took a three-star deduction because it didn't work right. With this simple error, I question the overall quality of the When I could not find an old Wii that I could borrow, I figured out how to utilize an adapter to make DDR work on my new (black) Wii (complicated by game guides that did not appear to be well documented in the manual). The new (black) Wii does NOT have Gamecube ports, but you CAN use the adapter on it, but you'll need a GameCube to Wiimote adapter to do so.

In the picture (and description), there are nine pads, the one I received only has seven, and the bottom left and right pads aren't there

The original order was returned to Amazon, and a replacement was sent. After receiving the replacement, I realized that it was the exact same incorrect pad a second time. Now I have to make two returns because of the incorrect and misleading item image.

That's the way it should work! I love it! DDR has been a long time since I played! The whole covid stay at home order is definitely getting easier with this!

It was only after I ordered this item that I realized it was I found out this item is not compatible with my computer program after I ordered it

Even though it wasn't opened, I attempted to return it, but the seller declared that it was past its thirty-day return period Usually you can return it within a few days. My bad, guess that'll have to go to someone else.
