Games with music are usually configured to handle audio/visual calibration in the game settings. It may have been because I didn't own GH, but Rock Band had a deep calibration system

In this case, I bought this to connect a new 55" TV to the Wii. The new TVs do not have RCA inputs, which means that the Wii cables won't I used this converter for Thanksgiving and was able to run the HDMI cable from the Wii to the TV with no problems. I could not have asked for a simpler transaction!
would not recommend buying this product, as it didn't work, and the tech support were given directions to send a video, which I did, but they never called me back.

This device consists of the following features ** - This device takes your Wii's analog 480i component signal and converts it into a digital 480p signal that is then output over HDMI.
What this device does not ** - Your Wii video signal will be converted to a standard digital 720p/1080p over HDMI signal that works on any TV. You must ensure the device you are plugging your Wii into through this device (TV, Monitor, or Capture Card) If you do not have this device, you will need to either get another one, or you will need to purchase an HDMI upscaler separately. Unless your Wii is an HD model, you cannot play your WIP games in HD. So get a Wii U if you want to play your WIP games in HD. My monitor does not support 480p over HDMI, and surprise, surprise, I couldn't connect it. I made the mistake of not checking before plugging it in if it was supported. So, I'm the one who made that mistake, not the makers. Eventually I found a TV that supported 480p in over HDMI and it worked just fine. A lot better than the standard composite cable that comes bundled with the Wii, but also much more convenient than the component cable that not every new TV or Capture Card supports anymore.
I have had great results when set to 480i. There is a potential conflict between the Wii’s 480p output signal and the adapter, based on the fact that the Wii (1st gen, the one that plays GameCube games as well) has a 480p output signal. The adapter, from what I can tell, wants a 480i signal because it will apply 480p to that signal. Once it has received the signal, the HDMI cable transfers the 480p signal Since I have tested it with 3 different TVs (an LG and a Vizio, too) and gotten the same results, I am pretty sure that this is a valid assessment. In the documentation, this should be explained.
As long as you ignore this one caveat, this adapter works well- Set the Wii back to 480i (not 480p) after you have correctly set the resolution setting. My concerns here were not sufficient to deduct a star, so I did not. should really explain this to the people, so that they won't have as many problems getting it up and running.
Though I was a little concerned after reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try seeing as the positive ones outnumbered the negative ones. That was the best decision I ever made and I'm so glad I did it. It's amazing how well this converter works! However, it's not putting out the "HD" image, not the adaptor, as that's due to the console. The two look exactly the same, however, so you can't distinguish them. You can see photos here. Connected to an LG smart TV, mine is connected to the internet. It has been smooth sailing for us. We have experienced no issues, delays, or any other things that people have mentioned. Despite the fact that I cannot access my Amazon Prime app, I can access it through my TV if it is connected of course, because LG's TVs do not have adequate security. It will therefore not be supported by Amazon. There is no competition for whether it is priced lower than this product or of higher quality, so I recommend it.
In the beginning, I was sceptical about the converter, but the Wii I bought didn't connect correctly to my video inputs.
It arrived as described. Connecting it to my TV was a breeze. An error message appeared on the television "No signal. ". "I knew it wasn't going to work, I knew it wouldn't Ah well, at least it didn't cost a lot. I noticed that I hadn't plugged the converter all the way into the Wii when I went to remove it from the HDMI port on my TV. Having pushed the plug in, I turned on the power. I'm so happy! I thought it would work well, but it works even better than I thought it would. It is a great product, I was the one who had a problem.
Product is Great, I was the one with a.
Then, add this Using the device is really easy, you plug in the HDMI cable (a nice bonus) and connect directly to your Wii and the cable to the TV - by using the included HDMI cable you have everything you need - I got it to work! Thanks to the Wii, more new TVs now lack component and audiovisual cables, allowing us to use it. My component cable was no longer working well, so I switched to this one. There is a reason why Gamecube HDMI adapters cost so much more than other HDMI adapters. There's no need to compromise. The Wii plays GC games, so the solution is simple.
Don't be spoiled by the newest consoles. However, you can still enjoy the picture quality of your games even if this does not render in 1080p! Super Mario Sunshine did not exhibit any artifacts or flickering when I played for hours on end.
Connecting the HDMI cable to the TV, then the AV converter to my home Wii, I then connected the AV converter to the TV via the HDMI cable (nice quality cable, provided with the adapter). And bingo, bango and bongo. I have now made my Samsung 40" Smart TV full screen and can play my games in full screen. It might not be 4K gaming, but it fills the entire screen, looks great, and is scaled based on the size of the screen. There seems to be no stretching or distortion in the image It looks like the video has been professionally edited. Ah, there is only a single HDMI cable in use. I use just the HDMI cable to connect the adapter to my TV for video and audio transmissions. It was not necessary to use an additional audio cable. If you're using the RCA or Component cables with a Wii, I suggest you buy this adapter and increase your Wii game experience by up to 1000%.
Everything is going according to plan so far! I just got it today and got it hooked The fact that we were able to play Wii games (and some retro Sega games) on the flat screen in the living room instead of the family room (which is a bit drafty) was awesome to my kids! It was super easy to install. A picture and a description I have a 70+" TCL Roku TV and I am happy with the sound quality. The picture quality is not bad to me, sorry. I do not know what other people are complaining about. Although I expected a fuzzy, grainy image, it's absolutely not like that. Could it be that others have crappy TVs as well? With a shrug.
By doing so, the Wii can continue to be used for a long time.
