Having little idea the battery charger I had would not work with these batteries, I took them to the store with no charger at all. Now I understand that when you buy batteries you must make sure that the charger you get has the charging contacts in the right place. You can match what you have with the back of the card by looking carefully at the back of the card.

In my opinion, the Wii controllers should be powered by rechargeable batteries The battery can last up to three years and you don't have to buy batteries every few months.
