Exquisite Gaming Cable Guy - Borderlands Claptrap - Charging Controller and Device Holder

Claptrap is supposed to be able to hold a controller or device in his hands in this scene. His left arm, on the other hand, hangs too low right out of the box. He can still hold a controller if I extend his middle "danger" zone, but it's not stable. When it comes to holding a device, he can only hold my phone or the Nintendo Switch if I balance them precariously on the right side; if they're charging, they won't balance (despite the fact that it's specifically advertised that you can). If you're lucky and get one with both arms in the right place, it'll probably work just fine. br>br>From an aesthetic standpoint, this thing is fantastic. It's well-made and attractive. This is one of the reasons I decided to keep it. It's pretty good even if it's just being used as a Claptrap statue. Overall, I would recommend this product, but proceed with caution. If you're buying in person, make sure his arms are in the right places (even in a line across the middle "danger" piece). If you're buying something online, you might have to return a few items before finding one without messed-up arms.

(Note that this refers to the manufacturer rather than the shipping company. ) This item of clothing is a farce. I've bought it twice now, and both times the arms are bent and don't hold a controller evenly, or, in this case, the arm is completely detached from the body and the glue has dried up. It arrived damaged inside the box, so I believe the item's actual box does not adequately protect the item. I'm giving up and won't try again because I don't believe it will arrive in working order.

PVC plastic, which is slightly flexible, is used to make the majority of the item. When "holding" my wireless controller, it is very sturdy and does not tip over. The Funco Pop CL4P-A is 7 1/2" tall (not including his antenna) and 5" wide, whereas the Funco Pop CL4P-A is 7 1/2 inches tall (not including his antenna) and 5" wide. The arms are mostly decorative, and they sit to either side of the support device, which is actually meant to support the weight of a controller that pulls out of CL4P-II. TP's chest. br>br>If you just leave the support device inside the chest, he makes a perfectly serviceable pencil holder, eyeglass holder, rubber band holder, and so on. If you want to support a phone, game controller, TV remote, and so on, expect to use the pull-out support device. out support strut to help with the extra weight br>br>If used as intended, it's a useful alternative to a standard support hook or other controller-related functionality. It's also a CL4P-compatible holding device. (If you're a Borderlands fan, this is a huge plus). br>br>If all you want is a cool CL4P-style game, this is the game for you. At first, I was very excited to open it up and get claptrap set up on my table, but upon closer inspection of the box, I realized it had been opened before because the latches were practically open, so once I got it out of the box, there were obvious signs that the arms were uneven, a few rubber bits were already graining off, and the right arm pushed a little off the main body. The main reason I got this was because I was a Borderlands fan; overall, it's a good gift; however, don't expect the arms to do the carrying; instead, I discovered a small tray that pushes out and carries the controller instead of the arms; the tray doesn't extend to a great extent, so the controller isn't in a snug roomy spot, but rather pressed tightly against the model. I added pictures to show the angles of the arm and the tray, in the hopes that this helps anyone who has any questions about this product.

He's such a sweetie. I bought it for my wife, but one of the arms is a lot lower than the other. Aside from that, it's a nice addition for Borderlands fans:.

Things were going swimmingly at first! However, over time, the arms began to bend under the weight of the controller, to the point where they were no longer able to hold the controller together and I was unable to use it for its intended purpose. It's been a cool decoration since then, but I wish I could have used it as a functional decoration as well. However, it receives four stars because it appears to be very well-made.

I'm really disappointed in myself for giving this a poor rating. Claptrap is without a doubt the most attractive of these controller holders. But, due to his frail arms, he is unable to hold much. There's a piece that protrudes from his chest to support it, but it doesn't look very good, and my PS4 controller doesn't fit well on it. Such a letdown. Nonetheless, I'll give it three stars because, despite the fact that it's not really functional for its intended purpose, it's still a fantastic-looking Claptrap statue.

This was a gift for my boyfriend for Christmas. I was so ecstatic to have discovered this that I didn't bother to read the reviews before placing my order. If the first one hadn't been snapped off entirely, his body would have been attached to the base at an angle that would have prevented him from holding a controller. I promptly returned it and received a replacement (especially given that it arrived via USPS during the holiday season). The second one is a little tilty, but I think that's intentional, and he can hold a controller just fine. Definitely worth it if you don't mind trying a few times before getting a good one.
