How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

In addition to touching and looking down on the "amiibo" character figure from the game, you can also enjoy it by touching and looking down on it.
It appeared as a player or received a special item when used with amiibo-compatible software.
With just one amiibo, you can have a variety of experiences and play in a variety of games.
On the Wii U GamePad, there's a Wii U, and on the bottom screen, there's a New Nintendo 3DS. You can connect to a game by simply touching an amiibo if the software is compatible.
You can use amiibo if your Nintendo 3DS / 3DS LL has the "Nintendo 3DS NFC Reader / Writer."

Questions & Answers

Is this compatible with the game's American editions?

YES. The one I'm selling is the United States version, which came with my United States game. Because I'm not a fan of Amiibo and wanted a physical copy of Twilight Princess HD, I purchased the bundle and kept the game disc alone.

Why is there Japanese writing on the box in the picture? The box does not appear to be in English. ?

Thank you so much for taking the time to write to me. Yes, the one I'm offering for sale is the Japanese version. It also works on your console in the United States.br> br>Many thanks for taking the time to read this.

Is this something that I can use with my switch?

You will, without a doubt, have a wolf to aid you in the fight against your foes. He captures birds and wild animals in order to provide food for you. It's very intriguing! Best wishes and have a great time!

What is the maximum number of times you can call the wolf?

You can summon the wolf as many times as you want, but if its stamina is depleted, you must wait for it to recharge (much like the master sword) before you can use it again. It will be called upon. I never got to use mine because the wolf I got didn't have NFC capabilities, so I had to return it for a refund.

It's a pleasure to look at, and it's also a pleasure to work with
5/5

Game. I have no experience with collectible figures, but given that I was anticipating a low-cost factory-made figure, I was pleasantly surprised. Expectations were unquestionably exceeded when it came to painted plastic. It's sturdy enough for small children to play with (cue collective gasps of horror around the room), pretty enough for adults to collect, and useful enough in-game. To make it a totally worthwhile purchase, there are a few things you should know about the game. br>This amiibo is supposed to work with a few games, but I'm guessing most people who buy it, like me, are primarily interested in Breath of the Wild. Wolf Link, the doggo companion who fights, hunts, and searches for shrines alongside you in BotW, will only ever have three hearts unless you also have the Wii U game Twilight Princess HD, in which case you'll have to go through the Cave of Shadows to get your furry friend up to a lovely twenty hearts. (While I've heard that connecting Wolf Link to the Twilight Princess game automatically grants him up to twenty hearts, I'm not sure if this is true. ) Because I haven't heard it frequently enough, it doesn't appear to be a common occurrence. )br>Even though Wolf Link only has three hearts, having him in- It's a fun and practical game. I was afraid he'd die quickly due to his poor health, but he does a good job of avoiding hits (warning: he's not immune to all hits). He is hit by friendly fire, so keep an eye out for the wolf underfoot). You can also feed him to help him get back on his feet. You can scan your amiibo to have him return to you if you ever lose him in the vastness of the map - However, once he's died, you'll have to wait until the next day to resurrect him. He's also a pain to have around if you want to photograph animals (he apparently enjoys hunting) or sneak up on someone (the chain around his paw makes quite a racket). br>Overall, this is a fantastic investment for all your wanderings through Hyrule's kingdom - Going alone is risky, after all.

There are no restrictions on where you can use it
4/5

This item was purchased in order to obtain the wolf companion in Breath of the Wild. This is identical to the game's American version! Amiibos do not belong to any particular region, and the only difference between them is the writing on their boxes. If you're a new in-box collector, the only reason to get the US version instead of the Japanese model is if you're a newbie. They're the same amiibo apart from that! br>br>Keep in mind that in order to train your wolf, you must first complete the Twilight Princess minigame (or hack it, but what fun is that?). It only comes with three hearts at first, and you can use it even if you don't have the Twilight Princess game. You simply will not be able to train it. This is still quite useful, but it isn't as powerful as the 20-heart doggy.

Link the Wolf is a cool character
5/5

My son's birthday present was a Wolf Link amiibo. It is something he adores. During a battle, Wolf Link assists him and procures meats for him. This is a lovely puppy.

Beautiful Amiibo statue of Wolf Link from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
5/5

The Zelda BOTW (Breath of the Wild) Nintendo Switch game now has a lovely Wolf companion. He helps Link fight enemies by hunting game for him (lots of meat for the inventory). He has the ability to be re-educated. spawned every day when the Amiibo is used, and will accompany Link on foot or horseback. He won't be able to fast travel with Link, but he can be resurrected. (multiple times in one day) spawned to a new location You can tell him to "stay" if you need to go into stealth mode, and he will (for a short time). br>br>The statue itself is lovely and substantial. Very well-made and detailed. Wolf has only three hearts, but he is incredibly agile and rarely gets hurt while fighting, especially if Link assists him and finishes off the monsters quickly. You can feed him "meat" to heal him if he is injured. In my game, he's only been killed once or twice when I accidentally hurt him while fighting monsters. Sad! But he'll be able to play again the next day, so it's not all bad! Wolf Link is my all-time favorite Amiibo, because who doesn't want (or need) a wolf pal?.

I collaborated with BotW and the Switch on this project
5/5

The attention to detail is outstanding. This was purchased to go with my Nintendo Switch and Breath of the Wild. It was extremely effective! The in- Though the ones I summoned were only three hearts, game wolves are extremely powerful. They essentially attack anything they see and appear to die quickly. br>br>However, the item's detail was incredible, and it sits beautifully on the shelf next to the switch.

Wolf, you're a gentleman
5/5

It's a big hit with my five-year-old. It's more useful early on in the game (we don't have TP, so our wolf only has 3 hearts), but having a wolf companion is still fun later on. After finishing the first run, we started a new game, and this wolf took very little damage at first, even when fighting multiple bokoblins at the same time. He dodges well, and his attack is powerful enough to deal with the early foes. I wish I could order him around and have him wait while I recon, but he's still a great guy to hang out with.

It gives back exactly what you put into it
4/5

It's well-made (as are most amiibo), and having wolf Link as a support character in Breath of the Wild is a nice touch. If I had to find a flaw in this product, it would be that I skipped over the Twilight Princess remaster that came with it when it was first released- Without having played The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on Wii U, wolf Link only has three hearts, making him difficult to keep alive in a fight (and he is quite adept at attracting aggro). This could be a must-have for BotW if you play through TP and complete the challenge after collecting all of the heart containers.

Region compatibility is not an issue
4/5

Hearts should be a little easier to load onto the Amiibo, but they're still worth it. This Amiibo is quite a visual work of art. I bought one from Japan and it works fine with my American Wii-U. My only gripe is the difficulty of loading your Twilight Princess hearts onto it. You must first complete Twilight Princess HD, after which you must complete The Cave of Shadows, a dungeon scenario in which Link must battle his way through 40 levels filled with various monsters. You can load as many hearts into your Amiibo as you have remaining hearts at the end. It's a pain to go through, but once you do, having the wolf version of Link assist you in exploring the vast lands of Breath of the Wild is a lot of fun.
