Selected User Reviews For Wii U Controller, Wireless Rechargeable Bluetooth Dual Analog Controller Gamepad for Wii U Pro Controller with USB Charging Cable
This was purchased as an additional controller so that my two children could play Minecraft together. We already have a different brand of Pro Controller that works perfectly, but it isn't compatible with Minecraft. I am extremely dissatisfied with this purchase and will be returning it.
The Zr button started sticking in the partially down position almost as soon as I got it, requiring me to swipe it back up after pressing it, but I didn't mind because I wasn't using it in gameplay. Then I noticed that if I kept pressing up, my bow would continue to rise until it reached the top of the travel level - It doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen occasionally. br>br>I first assumed it was the virtual console, but it's now happening on the main Wii U screen as well. When I lift the stick up and let go, the cursor sometimes continues to move until it reaches the top of the screen. I went back to my old Wii classic controller, and it worked perfectly again, with no unauthorized movement. br>br>I'm enraged because this lemon of a controller cost me more than $20. I received it on November 6th and used it for less than a month before it broke down. It's now completely unusable as a gaming platform. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Because I was able to return and receive a refund, I increased my rating to two stars. Thankfully, it was discovered within the first thirty days and failed!.
These are a lot less expensive and work just as well. The thumb sticks are just as good, with a very small dead zone and perfect sensitivity, and the battery life is excellent. They do, however, work with the Wii U's Wii side. The rumble feature is also available on these controllers. There is no rattling and everything has a pleasant overall feel to it.
For the most part, it works fine. I'm not sure if it's a hardware issue or an online issue with the game I'm playing, but it occasionally acts up, causing drift and sensitivity issues with the joysticks. However, it appears to function normally most of the time.
If you're looking for a great Wii U controller, look no further. It's something I'd strongly advise you to try - It's fantastic - incredibly responsivebr>br>- The product name is deceptive - There is no Bluetooth functionality on this device.
I bought it to use with my WiiU so that I wouldn't waste the battery on the main WiiU controller when I wasn't playing games that required it. I've tried it out in single player mode with Minecraft.
It worked perfectly, and the price clinched the deal for me. When these first came out, they were extremely expensive, but I came across this on Amazon and decided to give it a try. It works perfectly and syncs up immediately!.
This is the second controller that has been sent to me. So far, this has been a fantastic substitute; I've used it to play Mario Kart 8. Buttons appear to be brand new, and joysticks function well. However, they are a little firm (presumably because they need to be used more).
