I bought two 5-pound bags by accident. foot- cord controllers, and it was a lifesaver! It was long enough to cover our entire media room, plus a little extra! It would have been better if it had a "breakaway" design so that if someone tripped over it, the entire console wouldn't collapse, but it's fine as is. The part where the controller plugs in is actually very tight, so your cord will never fall out while you're playing! It's also not particularly aggressive, so you can easily leave it plugged in and wrap it up with the controller for storage! This is truly epic! For GameCube fans, this is a must-have item.

They stay in the controller ports once they've been plugged in. They don't get disconnected by accident while playing, which is great if you're playing Smash or Mario Kart and get a little too excited.

The only complaint I have is that on a few games, there is some rumble lag. I'm sold because there are no issues with disconnecting.

These items are fantastic! These extension chords are extremely appealing to me! My wavebird is worn out, and I was considering replacing it when I came across these and thought to myself, "These are much less expensive than a new wireless controller, and there are no batteries, no input lag, AND there are four of them!" To play Mario Party, we no longer need to sit on the floor in front of the TV. The links are extremely safe. I would strongly suggest it.

There is one snag. These do exactly what they're supposed to do, as other reviews have stated. so long as the connection is kept up The male connector is fine and snug, but the female connector (where your gamecube controller is plugged in) is extremely loose. The gamecube controller does not appear to fit completely into the female end of the connector. It's still functional, but the connection is shaky. Even the tiniest movement will cause it to disconnect; however, I always have electric tape on hand, so this is only a minor inconvenience. I was undecided about whether to give it three or four stars. I recommend them, especially if you have older controllers with shorter cables; however, keep in mind that they aren't perfect.

Very useful information! I recently 3d printed a dock extension to hold my GameCube adapter, but getting GameCube cords to reach across my living room to my TV stand is a challenge (especially with 3rd party GameCube controllers and their often super short cables)

For my setup, these extenders were perfect! Because the plugs are so tight in the extenders, you're more likely to yank the cord out of the adapter rather than the extender. While using these, I haven't experienced any noticeable lag in Smash. I would strongly advise anyone looking to extend the length of their GameCube controllers to get these!.
