With the exception of the packaging, there is no difference between the US and Japanese versions. Both the US and Japanese versions of the game can be played on the Wii U or 3DS. Except for this one, I've bought a lot of Japan amiibos and haven't had any major issues with any of them. It was crooked when it arrived, but I don't think it was the seller's fault; it could have simply been a factory defect.
The reason for this is that many of these have been discontinued and are becoming increasingly rare and difficult to find.
They have the same dimensions as any other Samus amiibo.

I'm at a loss for words. I bought it, it arrived on time, and it worked right away (I used it for Super Smash Bros. ). if you're buying for the 3DS)br>br>I wouldn't recommend buying this if you're looking for a still-life game. inside-the-house Unless it's out of season, go to the store if you want box bragging rights. br>br> I've purchased at least three Japan imports, all of which arrived with the box folded or crinkled in some way, as if hurriedly stuffed inside. I don't give a damn about it, but I'm sure some do.
I bought this for my brother, despite the fact that he does not play as Samus in Super Smash Bros. I figured a Nintendo figure of a character he enjoys would be nice. He enjoys Metroid games, so even though this was a Smash Bros. gift, he appreciated it.
This order didn't contain any surprises. The item arrived in excellent condition and performed as expected.
(see the list) It was well-packaged and arrived ahead of schedule!.
The product is in good working order.
The amiibo worked fine. It was dented and scratched quite a bit. Some of the paint was peeling off as well. You'd think that because I ordered it from Japan, it'd be of higher quality. I'm considering filing a refund claim.
I primarily mine for the purpose of display and Super Smash Bros.
