In the process of trying to clean it up, my kid dropped a toy on the Wii U gamepad screen. There are just a few small dent marks on it. The touch screen was still able to function, but it was barely enough. The LCD was still in perfect condition after some research, and the case had been unopened since purchase. It was just a matter of getting The item I purchased was after watching a video on YouTube about replacing the Wii U gamepad screen. Since I did that, the screen on my Wii U is now working perfectly. As someone who has never replaced any kind of screen before, I was nervous about this one too. I watched the videos and familiarized myself with the inside of the gamepad before I took it apart, so I felt pretty comfortable when I took it apart. The software works perfectly. There seems to be enough adhesive to hold the device together.
