Is this textured, or is it smooth and painted nicely?

It has a texture to it. It was causing my gamepad remote to malfunction. It became unresponsive after I applied this Wii U skin, and I couldn't get it to work again until I took it off. As a result, I don't think it's a good idea.

Is the bottom of the console and the back of the controller covered by this skin?

It does, in fact, cover the console's bottom. It doesn't cover the controller's bottom. Because of the texture, I don't think a skin could stick to the bottom of the controller. As a result, a skin that covers the controller's bottoms is unlikely to be found.

There are 37 different colors to choose from, according to the image above. Is it necessary to specify a color before making a purchase?

No, the title specifies the color scheme. Amazon is working on a color variation feature for the electronics category that will allow sellers to include multiple color options in the same listing, allowing customers to simply choose their preferred color from the list. As a result, if you want a different color, you'll have to "search" for it for the time being. In the listing title, the proper color will be stated.

Is this something that you can print? Is this a carbon texture, or is it a fake?

It's a metalized PVC film with a carbon fiber appearance embossed on it. It has a nice appearance and does not appear to be made of poor quality materials. Because the images were created in Photoshop, it's difficult to tell from the pictures. You are welcome to buy the product and return it for a full refund if you are unhappy with it.

The design is excellent, and the fit is almost perfect

Skin of superior quality. I bought this skin to put on a scratched-up and aged-looking black Wii U I have. I was eager to use the product right away after receiving it only a few days after ordering it, and I did so. I must say that this black carbon fiber skin has exceeded my expectations. Console skins are frequently poorly designed, with all of the intricate pieces and cut-outs. The outs don't always match or align with the console's actual buttons and details. This is not the case with this product; it was designed near-perfectly, and I am extremely pleased with the end result. The product is also fairly forgiving if you need to adjust or correct application commitments you've made and must work backwards to undo them. I had to do it about a half-dozen times, and now that I'm done, you can't tell. This purchase has exceeded my expectations in terms of value and product quality. Only time will tell how well it holds up after a lot of use and abuse, but my first impression is very positive. I would buy this product again in a heartbeat. 5 out of 5 stars - This is a great option if you have a black Wii U that could use a makeover. Simply take your time when applying the skin and do not rush. Overall, I think it took me about 30 minutes to complete the process.

Because of the size, it's easier to put on with the help of a friend who can hold one side while you smooth it out. The pattern on it, and if you have the right color console to blend in with their color options, it still saves it, even if it is 1/4 off in alignment on things like the buttons, stand, and so on. Whatever the case may be, it appears to be attractive! I made some changes to mine, such as using an X-ray machine. To make holes for the Wii U logo, use an acto knife.

It gives the impression that the console is brand new! I had a black Wii U and was looking for a new skin to replace an old one

I decided to buy it after reading the reviews. Worth it! br>br>As another reviewer suggested, "take your time" when applying the skin to the console! It takes roughly 15 minutes to complete. 30 minutes, plus or minus.

It's well-made. It is a perfect fit. It was also delivered quickly. It would be nice if there were some instructions on where each piece goes, but you can figure it out for the most part.

Cool, but difficult to install perfectly

Looks great, feels great, and is a great way to make a scratched up Wii U look decent. Installation was a pain in the ass to get it lined up, and correcting mistakes wrinkled it, so be careful.
