For the past four months, I have used them for roughly six hours per day, and they are still as good as new. I bought them to do a scratch test, but the entire thing is that color, not just a paint job

I love the feel of the buttons. They are really smooth. This whole thing fits perfectly, and the paint job is really lovely and glossy! Pictures do not do this product justice. My only complaint (and the reason I deducted a star) was that the screwdriver that came with this product was slightly off or too small, and caused one of my screws to strip from the blade. So I found it impossible to take apart my left joycon and replace the part. So I would need to get new joycons in order to utilize the other half of the kit's buttons. In addition to that, the product itself is excellent, and it would be recommended to anyone who is brave enough to tear apart their Joycons. There's no way you won't enjoy Edit
I can still say with confidence that these buttons and joycon shells are worth the money after about three months now. This brand beats out its competitors hands down. I have now completed a full replacement (see newer pictures), and I'm very glad I chose it over others. In addition, I have run into another issue in the meantime Stains tend to appear very quickly on the shells. If you wish to preserve the beauty of your iPhone, then a slim transparent case would be ideal so that it still shows off the material's quality. You should also be careful not to cause any damage to your switch by drying it after it has been stained because the stains do not come off with water or alcohol.
I have included a list of the positives and negatives of this product as well as areas I think they could improve it. I have also included references and pictures. The positives are I. 1. As far as I can tell, the buttons are perfectly molded to fit the stock buttons and mimic them. If any pieces of plastic remain after the piece has been removed from the mold, you should trim them with a nail file. The appearance of a person is important You have done a great job with these! I showed it to a friend who was very impressed and said it looked great. 1. 2. 3. I'm looking for a price of A good price and a way to customize your switch at an affordable price. An exchange is less expensive and easier to set up. The following is a list of negatives / areas for improvement. I. 1. This button set does not include all buttons Most of the buttons on the set are present, but the plus and minus buttons, screenshot, and home buttons are not. Even though I could tolerate omitting the home and screenshot buttons, I was very disappointed not to be able to add and subtract I think it would be cool if the joycon looked completetly unison. A button without an outline will not be displayed In fact, the buttons do have the lettering to indicate what button it is, but the lettering is also the same color as the button so it is difficult It won't be an issue for us Switch users, but it could be a little confusing if I'm playing with someone who isn't a Switch user My friends and I who own switches say "hurry, press (button name)" and they reach down and look at their controller to see where the button is, and then It would be awesome if the lettering on the main buttons were still outlined in future revisions. 1. 2. 3. Rubbing off of paint is a concern In contrast to the stock buttons, these buttons have a more matte appearance, which at times can feel a little slick. If you find this annoying, it may be a good thing, so long as you don't mind it. Although I do not think the paint on the buttons has been clear coated, I am concerned that after extended use the paint may begin to rub off. Since I just received these, it isn't an issue at the moment, but I can see it becoming one all too soon. Item 4. The tool set is lacking You will need a pair of tweasers and prying tools if you are replacing this button. It is included with the kits, but I recommend you have some prying tools and screwdrivers handy as well. In this case, it would have been nice to have them included. Fortunately, I had a few lying around and they made the installation a snap. The conclusion is This is still an important update for your switch, even though it has some minor imperfections. Using at least one or more of the above suggestions would make this an amazing product if the seller applies them in the future.
You will have to take your time during assembly. Spending twenty dollars on groceries didn't make sense for me In order to give my joycons a custom look, I decided to just get the buttons rather than spend $40 on a full new Joycon and switch shell. Changing the left Joycon is much easier than switching the right, but if you have a triple-digit IQ, you can swap either one. As a whole, I will give them 5 stars unless I encounter any issues down the road. My only real difference between the stock buttons and the custom buttons was that the triggers did not compress as much, but I didn't mind that. You will get great results if you take your time and don't rush it. Before you get started, it would be a good idea to check out the Nintendo tool set.
If you are already making custom Joycons, there is little reason not to invest in some custom buttons as well. We do offer a set of black buttons with our own Joycon shell replacement kits, as well as the original gray buttons from your existing Joycons, but chances are you would like custom colors for your buttons as well if you're already doing a shell swap. In general, the colors offered here are eerily similar to those in the shells, and all of them have hues that blend quite well if you mix and match them. Furthermore, the legends are engraved on the buttons rather than printed as they are on I don't think there's much to say about these replacement buttons as there is about shells or the joycons themselves, but they're still an important addition to.
