Despite being a "Complete" edition, it is not a 'Definitive' I have played most of this game's releases, and it drives me insane because of its so many releases
4/5

On the SNES I had the "original", and it was incredible. Although it was early in the Final Fantasy decade, it was a great title and set a positive tone (mostly) for its predecessors. Some of us have lived long enough to remember the revelation that a majority of the content of this game was cut, censored, or otherwise altered from its original version. It wasn't until maybe a decade or two later that you got FF Anthology on the Playstation, an obvious absence. A few years later, Chrono Trigger and this game were both released together, and the features missing in the latter had been restored, but the same wall still stood. It is still possible to play this game with bangingly stupid dialogue. Several years later, we see that this game has been remade and put on the Gameboy Advance, with old features restored, new ones added, and dialogue changed. With the exception of Video & Audio, it was a solid improvement The audio file. The game will be completely reconstructed if you smash cut once more It was made for the DS, but couldn't be taken seriously because of the art style. The artwork is terrible, and the deformations are super severe, but another rework The dialogue and voice overs were worked on and a new decant ability system was created! So which group does this one fall into? Although I think the Video and Audio are the best of all, we are missing the dialogue and voice overs as well as the cutscenes The graphics in this version are superior to those of the DS version. As a result of the Decanting feature being replaced by Advance features, the Advance version features are unchanged. With the advance, all the characters benefited from an epilogue chapter, but with the decant ability, they were both versatile and useful. There is an "interlude" chapter as well as "The After Years" in this game. The graphics are good through out, but the art style of "The After Years" is awful, and the level grind is difficult. Consequently, it isn't the edition I would like, but it is the most important.

In spite of beating the 3DS version of Final Fantasy IV, I am still very pleased with it! A must read for anyone who loves Final Fantasy, whether they are brand new or seasoned fans! Play 3 games for the price of one! I've already beaten the harder Final Fantasy IV on DS, but this one is so different that it's worth playing through the main game again -- AND it contains the Interlude AND After Years! The game is a 3 in 1 with a bestiary and plenty of nice I highly recommend the little disc and manual, the controls are tight and intuitive, and the original sprites are spot-on on the PSP screen

It is well worth the price they ask for! Any fan of Final Fantasy, old or new, has to have this!.

It is the best FF game and the best PSP game
5/5

That is all! It is, in my opinion, the revised edition of Final Fantasy IV that makes the PSP a truly awesome system. When the SNES version was released back in the day, it had a great story and played well in a short amount of time. The PSP version added a lot more graphics and the Interlude (worth playing but kind of useless), as well as Despite being well received by the critics, The After Years wasn't very well received by the general public. a bit tedious at times when some of the characters tell their stories. Despite its flaws, The After Years does NOT disappoint if the player can withstand the last dungeon and make it to the end. The boss count must be around 60, and it takes about 20 hours to get through them all. The last guy is abusive and hard to deal with on top of that. He can be defeated if you slow down the battle speed (not using the spell 'Slow', but tweaking the speed in the configuration menu), and I recommend switching to the Anyone who can beat the last guy in the 'Active' battle mode on the fastest battle setting is welcome to try. This is something that I honestly do not believe I got the best results on the 3rd fastest setting when I chose 'Active'. The last battle was very satisfying indeed, so I find the ending of this story to be enormously satisfying. I'm not sure if the room was even a little dusty when I was there. In real life it's really two huge games packaged into one, but they call it three in one. The coolest thing about the game is when you beat FFIV, you get to face Golbez as your final opponent. You can recruit him as a party member after you beat him. His role in The After Years is crucial, he has an entire character story dedicated to him, and he plays a crucial role in the plot of the game. He is even one of the 5 characters I think should be used in the final The storyline for him is one of the best in the game, and he is probably the most polarizing character after Cecil. This is how much time I spent playing the game A brief description of FFIV In a 48-hour period, you will have an interlude A four-hour film called "The After Years" A UMD can hold 156 hours of gameplay! That's 104 hours of gameplay on one DVD! you made it over 98% of the way to the bestiary, but even if you went the most direct route you would still need to put in over 100 hours. It is, in my opinion, an excellent game, and would be recommended to all fans of the FF series who are patient and hardworking. If you do not complete the game, you will not be able to enjoy the same experience. Having said that, that would probably take a lot of time, so it doesn't suit everybody.

This is one of the most popular games among fans
5/5

It was easy for me to purchase this because I could not resist playing FFIV with better A remake of IV was released for the Nintendo DS, but this remake did not use 2D graphics, but rather opted for, in my opinion, inferior 3D graphics instead. Combined with the widescreen presentation on the PSP version, the PSP version of the game proves to be quite I was blown away by the graphics on the monster. In addition, I was satisfied with the content included in this package, which gave me the total FFIV experience for such a reasonable price. Likewise, the game provides many options in the menu, like letting you switch between playing the original soundtrack and the modern version. For the PSP, this is a must-have.

It was an excellent game

Until it went missing, I owned this game once. The Nintendo DS may be more fancy, but it doesn't cost as much. As well as The After Years, there are some other bonus stages, if I recall correctly.
