Questions & Answers

How do I find out if Myst III is an English-language import, and can be played on PlayStation?

Playing it on a PS system is not possible because it is in English.

Is there a way to tell if a game on my PSP is a 3000 version or a 2000 version so that I don't buy the wrong one?

It does not matter what game you play. There is no difference between the two. I appreciate it.

What is included with it? Is there an instruction manual and a case?

There is a case manual and an umd game included

Are there plans to include the PS Vita in the future?

There is no backward compatibility for the PS Vita. Games from the PSP can be played on this console, but only via Umd discs CANNOT be played on the Sony Ps vita because the console does not have a UMD drive.

There was a lack of progress in the updates
3/5

Final Fantasy II is a game full of fun, and the rest of the series has a few fun games as well. Its visual and audio quality have been greatly enhanced by the remake as well. There were some minor gameplay tweaks that would have made the game more playable, but they are simply not in the game. Any tree, a building, or anything else for that matter. An object made of solid material Walk behind them and not behind them Some paths through town don't seem to be easy to locate quickly, making it difficult to navigate. Additionally, sometimes you don't realize you're going to end up on the world map when you accidentally leave a town. It is almost a guarantee that you will run into a random encounter before you return to town in any case. There aren't many major problems with the game there are only minor ones such as that. Translating the text into English is good, and the leveling system is easy to exploit, although a little bizarre. Storywise, the book is decent and the characters are engaging. In comparison with the first Final Fantasy game, this is a significant upgrade Characters in this game are just as customizable, but they have distinct personalities.

This version of the game definitely seems to be the most complete. This is the re-release of the previous revision, which contains all the content The release of the product (e. g. The "rebirth of souls" dungeon) and tweaks to the random encounter rate (I believe) to make the game smoother. It would be foolish to pass this up at Amazon's price. From what I understand, if you already own the GBA version, there's little reason to choose this one over the GBA.

This is indeed a flawed product, but worth $9 in my opinion
3/5

Because I have played the other two versions, I knew what to expect when I started this one. The newest version seemed interesting to me so I decided to try it out. First I played this on the PS1, which was very similar to what I played here for the PC. No matter what its flaws are. The fan translation of the ROM for a NES emulator I played a while back is also on my collection, so I have played both versions. In this game, the leveling system is the biggest flaw. The system is similar to what we have in Elder Scrolls now, but the older version has some issues. The most significant concern is the gaining of health and mana. It would have been more effective if levels were gained by leveling weapons, armor, attack, magic power, etc during battles, rather than using traditional leveling to gain HP and MP. As a result, all the stats are raised when you battle. To raise your HP, you just need to If you want to do this, just hit your own characters with attacks and fight weak enemies. I mean it. The boring level grinding system is now out of the way. Quite a bit of fun to play. This is finally the first final fantasy with a real story to tell. While customizable characters have flaws, they still add some variety to the game. Some of the things newer gamers will not like are the kind of things that old-timer gamers don't want to deal with. Getting too far out of town and running into an Uber may result in the encounter Monsters with strong attacks that will kill your party in seconds. Savings are important, so don't forget! In addition to the better graphics, there is also some improvements in the UI. As well as the visuals, the music was remastered. In my opinion, it is one of the weaker Final Fantasy titles, however it is still a numbered Final Fantasy game, so it is a must for true fans. It's concerning that so many of the newer RPGs have taken control, variety, exploration and customization out in favor of shiny graphics and intense plots and stories. This is a game I would prefer to Final Fantasy 13 in a lot of ways.

I was much more impressed than I thought I would be
4/5

As I had read a lot of reviews about this game, I was a bit nervous about playing Simply hearing about the complaints about the alterations to the leveling system was enough to make me rethink my decision. I bit the bullet, however, and boy am I glad that First of all, this game looks great, just like the remake of Final Fantasy for the PSP. Even if you have 2d games, there is nothing wrong with them as long as they are made well, and this one I liked the way each member of your party appears unique, and the details of the enemies were well done. It was also nice to discover that one-night stays are still available A leveling change has been made. Since I have played a couple of elder scrolls games, I was able to grasp the idea that the more your party members use specific weapon types or magic, the better their proficiency becomes in those areas. The adjustment didn't come right away, but I must admit that it took some time. As a player, I generally try to take very little damage and conserve spells. However, taking damage during battle is crucial for your ability to increase your maximum HP, since otherwise you take forever to recover. There was a lack of character or story development in the first game, which was one of my greatest complaints. In Final Fantasy 2, I liked both of them quite a bit. It is true that there is some plot-related material I thought this game was definitely a step in the right direction. Although it has some holes, and some characters are inconsistent, or have been slapped together hastily, it was a great start. The FF series wasn't complete without Chocobos, and this was the game that introduced him. Hence, I would recommend this game to anyone who is curious about how the Final Fantasy series has progressed over the course of its history.
