I've tried to buy two of them separately, but they each came in completely different packaging when I bought them brand-new. still, they both had the same issue of the audio cutting out periodically when the cords moved around, such as when you were walking around with them on, as most people do when wearing I think the problem has to do with how the pens are packaged and how they are built. It's a good thing that the cords are ultra-strong This makes it easy to break and thin. Moreover, these cords are folded at many angles inside the packaging, probably causing the copper wiring inside to wear down over time, leading to the likelihood that there isn't an unopened one out there in good condition. Plus, they can break pretty easily if they get caught on something or if they're just neglected for some time. It's a shame, since they're the most comfortable headphones I've ever wore.
