Questions & Answers

Will it be able to play games in the United States?

Yes, and you have the option of changing the system language to English.

What languages are the games on the vita/psp store available in?

Regardless of the language you chose for the region when you first set it up.

Is there a memory card included?

This is not the case. It does, however, come with 1 GB of internal memory. If you only want to play physical copies of vita games, it'll suffice.

Why does it say it's grated when it's new?

Some are new, while others are used, with a rating of condition if you're buying used.

This is a lovely unit, but it is not brand new
4/5

To begin, I'll admit that I have a number of PlayStation Vitas. I'm familiar with how they operate; you'll need about a 16-inch diameter. Sony branded 32GB memory card (specifically for PS-) If you want to get games from the PlayStation Store, you'll need a vita. Yes, those are also pricey. Anyway, back to my main point: This aqua blue Vita is a GameStop exclusive edition that they must sell all over the world because GameStop is almost out of them in the United States. I didn't get a brand-new unit. The box wasn't sealed (which wasn't a big deal), the screen was dusty from sitting on someone's shelf for a few months, and the real clue was that it had already been linked to another PlayStation account! This is intriguing to me. Another significant indicator was that it was running the most recent firmware (3. 0). 65) has been set up. It wouldn't have shipped with that from the factory unless it was made just a few days ago. They're either refurbished units (which seems unlikely) or they're being smuggled out of Japan and re-sold. Putting them in boxes in the US (to avoid having to pay export duties or something). Although my unit is Japanese, it was designed with English in mind. When I was setting it up, I noticed that the x and o button commands were reversed. Fortunately, whoever used it before me took good care of it, as there are no scratches on it. It's a gorgeous Vita, and I adore the color. It is one of a kind. I have no intention of returning it. Just keep in mind that you might be getting a used Vita for less than the cost of a new one. Your mileage may vary, as it always does!.

In person, the aqua blue is even more stunning; I adore it! I've had a PCH-equipped PS Vita since I bought it
5/5

I've had my eye on this aqua blue PCH-2001 (USA/NA) version for a while now. Like a hawk, I was watching the 2000 (Japan) version. The region codes are the last two digits following each PS Vita number. PCH- as an example PCH-2001 is the first year of the year in the United States of America. I'm seeing some reviewers with the PCH-2000, which is 00 Japan code, and so on. The year is 2006, and these customers have no idea that the product they received from some of these sellers is the Asia 06 Hong Kong/Korea version. I have no objections to any PS Vita version, but I prefer to get what I paid for, and in this case, the Japanese aqua blue was the only option. When you first set up the device, it will default to Tokyo, so you can tell if it's the Japanese version. br>br>I took a chance and bought something from seller cus mart with same-day delivery through FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon). Everything arrived on time, and the product was BRAND NEW AND SEALED in its original box. The PS Vita is still being manufactured in Japan, and the clear seals are missing. I'm grateful that the seller who sold me the item included them as extra security. Because all PS Vitas are region-free, I can play all of my new physical and digital games on it, and because it only comes with 1GB of internal memory, I went ahead and purchased a 64GB from the same seller, who did not disappoint. I'm overjoyed with my new PS Vita; it's a true work of art! It's difficult to describe how beautiful the color of this device is because it appears darker or lighter depending on the lighting. Except for the back touchpad, the entire body has a matte finish, which means no fingerprints - yeay! br>br>On the Japanese versions, the X and O button functions are reversed, but this can be easily changed in the accessibility menu under settings. Because the X and O are only reversed on the LiveArea screen, I recommend just leaving them on default. When a game in the United States or North America begins, the controls default to what western gamers are used to: X=confirm, O=cancel/back. You can also log in to any PSN region you have, but keep in mind that each PS Vita can only have one account, courtesy of Sony. If you have multiple PS Vita proprietary memory cards, you can assign each one to a different PSN, blaming Sony once again. Aside from that, this PCH-sponsored event is a success. The PCH-2000 version works in the same way as the PCH-2000 version in the United States and Canada. Version from the year 2001 For those who are interested, my model came with three. Firmware version 65. If you need firmware older than this, it's best to ask your preferred seller, as these are still in production and very popular in Japan.

WATCH OUT FOR GLUTEN-FREE MEDIA! CHECK OUT WHAT YOU GET FROM THEM
3/5

GF MEDIA is selling PS Vitas from Hong Kong and Singapore as Japanese versions. Although it is advertised as a PCH 2000ZA23, you will receive a PCH2006ZA23. I prefer to get what I paid for rather than being taken advantage of. There was no seal on the box, and the firmware was version 3. 6 as if it had been updated by someone.

Be wary of the buyer! When I got it, it had already been used
3/5

If the box appears to be a little beaten up, be cautious. If you see the cardboard rolled up, especially around the edges, it's almost certainly been opened. Don't put your faith in those adhesive seals. The screen was covered in oil smudges. Twist ties were used inside the box, and it was suspected that cables were missing. br>br>In the end, I went back and purchased a plain Jane Vita Slim(black). I compared the contents and confirmed that the first vita I purchased did indeed have missing cables.
