There isn't any need for hacking. This is a standard memory card for the PlayStation Vita.
RD is completely incorrect, and his response is devoid of critical thinking and research. These are all Sony products (assuming they work), and the reason Sony went the proprietary route was to prevent other companies from creating counterfeits of their products (as well as to overcharge consumers). It is currently impossible to replicate the Sony memory card for the PS Vita, and anyone claiming to have done so should be regarded with suspicion. Vita memory cards are cheaper and easier to obtain in Japan than in the United States, so I assume they bought them in bulk and are simply selling them at a slightly lower price to appeal to western consumers. br>br>Now, to answer RD's ignorant question about why a Chinese manufacturer/company could have had a large number of official Sony products, it's because after the Vita's initial 1000 launch, Sony overestimated the number of parts they needed, and eventually they made their way to various companies who bought them either directly from Sony or from second hand sources that would tear down different models. Which is why, after learning from the 1000 Vita's launch, Sony began reducing the number of parts in production, which is why it's harder to find more original 2000 parts compared to the initial 1000 models, making it harder to repair 2000 Vitas as cheaply and easily as before. TLDR: Like many Amazon merchants, OSTENT is simply a reseller of PS Vita memory cards (if these cards work) who most likely purchased them for a lower price overseas and now sells them to western PS Vita owners at a lower than average market price.
Mine had the number 15 on it. There is a total of 5 gigabytes of free space on your computer. You should format the memory to see if that helps. I only checked the free space after first formatting it on the PS Vita.
Yes, this memory card is compatible with the PS Vita model 2000.

It may appear to be a knockoff, but this is a genuine Sony PS Vita memory card, with the Sony branding photoshopped out of the store photo. My Vita advised me to format the memory card before using it because it had previously been used and had data on it. It works perfectly now that I've formatted it, but I'm still not sure what was previously stored on the card. It's a fully functional vita memory card for half the price of the official Sony alternative, making it a no-brainer if you need one.
I was unable to format the card, preventing me from using it for my VITA.
This is a fantastic deal! Excellent value for money! This was purchased for my brand new (used but new to me) system, which arrived the same day. I formatted the card according to the instructions as I put it in. As you can see, I only have 14 GB of memory, but that doesn't bother me at this point. I could probably reformat and get all 16 of them. But that's not something I'd like to do. As you can see in the photos, the card is a genuine PS Vita memory card, and I am extremely pleased with it. It's been a great success! It hasn't messed up in any way. It's a fantastic deal! You'd be a fool if you paid more. It's a genuine product. It does exactly what it says it will. ****As of April 17th, everything is still working perfectly, and I'm still very pleased!.
Not because that's all I needed, but because I couldn't afford anything else due to their exorbitant price. I decided to take a chance when I came across this listing. It was a good size for a good price, and I've been very pleased with my decision so far, as I've been able to install and play several games without any problems. I would strongly recommend it to others and would consider purchasing another if the need arises.
I'm not sure where or how these guys get their Vita cards, but they're genuine and haven't given me any problems so far. I'm pretty sure it's refurbished or returned, because I had to erase some information from it when I first got it. In any case, getting an $80 card for $30 isn't a bad deal in my book.
Shipping takes anywhere from two weeks to a month, but it's well worth the wait. The Vita prompted me to format as soon as I put the card in. It was ready to use once it had been formatted. I've been using it for a few days and haven't had any problems with it.
So this is a standard PS Vita card with the branding removed via photoshop or similar software. The item is genuine Sony equipment that has previously belonged to someone else. It works perfectly, I've had no problems with it, and it does exactly what it says it will do.
This is an actual PS VITA memory card, despite the fact that it isn't shown in the photo. br>It has been used and the previous owner's data hasn't been erased. This isn't an issue; simply reformat the file.
