For better or for worse, this is the best Vita grip available
5/5

I bought this grip as a less expensive alternative to the Hori Grip, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is superior in some ways. Most importantly, in 2021, having front and back triggers for remote play will be critical. Manually assigning controls to PS4 games isn't possible, and whether a game uses the back or front touch controls for L2/R2 is a crapshoot. Because this grip has front triggers, it has a much wider range of remote play compatibility than the Hori grip. When you consider the lower price and greater availability, this grip should be everyone's first choice over the Hori grip right now.

One of the most useful accessories available
5/5

If you use remote play, or even if you don't, this device is incredible. It improves the comfort of holding the Vita, and the physical triggers for touch pad buttons make gaming more enjoyable. I was initially concerned about the build quality because it didn't appear to fit snugly on my Vita. I ended up putting a couple strips of black electrical tape on the case where it connects to the Vita's back, and it now feels like an OEM accessory. Even if it breaks, I'll buy another right away because it makes the Vita experience (Remote Play or not) so much better.

It has a good grip and accomplishes the task at hand
4/5

I've been meaning to get a grip for a while, and if you're anything like me, you're already familiar with Hori grips, which are more expensive than the Vita itself. There are also a slew of other options floating around, many of which are no longer manufactured, and others which do the job but come with a price, such as cosmetic damage to your system. That's not the case with this grip. br>br>It's incredibly simple for me to put my system in and remove it. It fits perfectly, and the clamping system secures it. The L2 and R2 triggers are both extremely responsive and effective. The two triggers on the front are effectively front touchscreen buttons, which comes in handy when using PS4 remote play. Aside from that, it's rarely seen in most games. br>br>Now, the reason it isn't a perfect five stars is because of the form factor and comfort; I expected it to be much easier to hold in my hands, but it isn't. After a half hour of playing, my hands hurt, and holding the Vita without the grip is much easier. In fact, I only use the grip when I'm playing a game that makes use of specific areas of the back touchpad; otherwise, I remove it. br>br>The grip looks and feels like a cheap hunk of plastic, and despite its best efforts to provide better hand support while gaming, it falls short. However, in terms of functionality, this is your best option for a low-cost grip.

Excellent for playing from a distance
5/5

For remote play, this is a must-have. If you have the extra money, I recommend getting the hori grip instead, but if you can't afford the $200ish hori grip, get this grip (which was around $37-$38). $49). When compared to hori, this grip lacks l3r3, but not every game requires the use of l3r3. When I first got the jec grip, I thought the material was cheap, but it does a good job for the money. br>Pros: great for remote playbr>vita stays in the grip(not a super tight fit but just right)br>responsive buttonsbr>easy to put on and take offbr>less expensive than hori grip(around $200ish)br>I like the concept of the front trigger buttons which is used for games that use the front corner of the vita for l2r2br>Cons: feels cheapbr>not particularly comfortable for long periods of playbr>front triggers are a little loose but responsive (not super clicky).

For 2020 Vita Grips, it's a pretty good year
3/5

In terms of price, quality, and functionality, I believe it will be determined by your needs. The grip is quite comfortable, and it also holds the vita securely. My only complaint is that there are some squeaky plastic sounds, which others have mentioned, but they aren't too bad. The touch spots on the screen's top corners are well-served by the lever buttons - However, it takes some getting used to because the top two corners of your screen are always hidden. Remote play is fantastic, and I discovered that it fits perfectly snugly in the amiibo game traveler case with this grip on:

It's a ten-fold return on investment
5/5

Amazing. It's a little loose, as the previous poster mentioned. Get a roll of super 33 electrical tape from your local veteran-friendly Lowe's and apply one layer in the same pattern as they did, plus one more just to be safe. Now it's as if you're wearing an OEM glove. Front triggers are useful, even if they are inconvenient.

It really works! Exactly what I needed
5/5

Awsome ! Everything is in order. Each game's controls must be adjusted. But it's well worth it if you want to play PS4 games with it. On my PS Vita Slim, it enables me to play Call of Duty and other fantastic games. In addition to PSVita games, he assists with them as well.

Deception is the key word here
3/5

I received this in the mail today, and the seller made no mention of it being a PS Vita accessory. My Vita is an older (thicker) model that does not fit in this device. So, for me, this was a huge waste of money and time, and I'm not sure how I can get in touch with this seller. So, if you're thinking about buying something from this person, think twice.
