Having to do that is a pain in the buttocks. A pocket knife was used to cut the rubber on the analog sticks of the Vita. They also damaged the rubber on the grip. This is something you should not buy!
There are no major issues with them you just have to get used to them at first I had trouble with the X button, but now I play as if the X button weren't there
Sure, you'll be fine. I took a look at the picture on the internet

You should be aware of the following This vita analog stick comes with an extremely tight fit from the factory, is impossible to remove, and damages the rubber pad on the center of the stick. I would steer clear of this grip unless you are planning to make the grips a permanent, non-removable item. This can easily be fixed with a dremel to drill out the center "star" pattern and shave down the lip on the edges. Accessory that can be removed. As they look, they feel and use like a dream, and after the modification they can be removed easily without harming It wouldn't be the same if it weren't for Cloud.
The only complaint I have is how difficult it is to take them off in the event that they It is very important to remove the thumbsticks with extreme care so as not to damage the originals It was a very small pair of pliers that I used to remove them, and they came right off by gently squeezing the stick cover. Second, it leaves marks on your original thumbsticks, so be sure to take them off carefully. My recommendation would be for people who'd like to replace their thumbsticks that were getting worn down. In other words, the originals serve as a way to remember the originals, and I really admire them. It has worked fine with the kinds of games I play on the vita, like Duke Nukem 3D and Killzone.
Normally I hate to write reviews but these thumb grips leave a nasty star shape imprint on the vitas joysticks and not only won't go away but cause the joysticks to stick for a long time. They must have created them this way because I have no idea why. The fact that this happened is quite frustrating.
There are literally white specks on the rubber and they are very noticeable. I thought it was dirt at first but it does not rub off! Even though I'm not that mad, I'll still use it because I'm not mad all the time, but just weird enough to be mad!.
It goes better with my Vitas when I wear whites. Each set consists of two pieces. There is a slight variation in the textures of each of the sets. Despite their ease of wearing, they stay on tightly, and they are challenging to take off. The controls are double the height of the Vita twin sticks, allowing them to be more accurate and comfortable to use. I use KontrolFreeks on all of my console controllers, and it is great that somebody made these.
This is a better option than the standard joystick. You can increase the comfort level in your hands by extending the height. These white ones look very nice when paired with the white Vitas!.
The fans are an absolute must-have if you plan to put a protective case on your PlayStation Vita. They are more convenient to use with recessed buttons since the cases have a more recessed fit. Easy to remove and reinstall, they snap onto the base quite snugly.
This is a great addition to the PSP Vita. It facilitates the use of the joystick. This is definitely worth the purchase.
