There are a lot of problems with this tutorial and not enough polish
3/5

It has been a very exciting experience to play the latest Civilization game on my The last time Civilization appeared on the Playstation platform was a long time ago.

I want to get the awful out of the way before I compare it to the good and the bad. As soon as I insert the disc in my system, the game installs and I launch it. How do I feel when I wake up in the morning? The purchase of expansion packs is requested. How are you? Is it okay to play the game I just purchased BEFORE you try to convince me to purchase yet another expansion? This is a good thing Graphics are on par with each other. This is a very detailed work, and it is a pleasure to view. Unlike individual units (although they can be hard to discern when zoomed out too much), each is unique. As for voice acting, it's also in line. While the cut scenes are nice and the narration is interesting (frankly, I prefer the beat of the other voice), I find her voice to be a little too much for my taste. There is a lot of "Civ-like" play in this game. As it is turn-based, you may build units or develop your city, add technology trees, develop your culture, etc. It's a good fit for people who are familiar with the franchise. There are two things that are wrong Other than that, everything else is the same. Yes, Firaxis, there should be an instruction manual included. People are first and foremost trying to find information. The process of trying to find information is very frustrating because you have to open menu after menu after menu. There is no need to include a strategy guide, but a technology tree, a list of wonders, a list of tile types, and a list of units would be extremely The controls will also be available. Do you have the ability to jump on a plane from the city to the city or from I'm not interested! To begin, you must find one of the above items (city or unit), then choose a submenu, where you can then cycle through the In a sense, this is just a waste of time. It should be as simple as a simple L1 or R1 to return to the next or last As I played along with the tutorial, I learned a lot. It usually takes me a few turns to find the nuances of the new version, get used to the menu layout etc. I'm on my 40th turn and things are going well so far. I CANNOT GET THROUGH THIS GAME! You can find the tutorial here. I'll be right back. Don't waste your time with a built a campus and then was free from the tutorial for a few turns so I built a library about 10 turns later, the tutorial asks me to build a library, but as it has already been built, I cannot leave the city menu so I have to quit. The fact that I have to rebuild the library after reloading does not change the fact that it is already built, and that the tutorial still says I have to do it. Therefore, the game has to be aborted. You should not construct anything until the game says you should. If you're going to play the tutorial, my advice is to not build anything. )

In addition, the Square button is nearly always in use. You end your turn by pressing the same button. It's a bit dangerous to tap it too much. You're going to be eaten by the AI in the computer. Trying to keep up with the production rate of Computer Cities will not be easy. There's no question that people like a challenge (I play on Diety mode most often), but why does the computer have advantages that others don't have? In truth, the game does not tell you about all the bonuses AI gets, so it takes a lot of learning to figure out which mysterious bonuses your enemy has received you would not normally have. It would not take much effort to patch these bugs (except for the lack of an instruction manual). In the event Firaxis improves this, my review will be updated. So I'm glad to see a new Civilization game too, but I think it needs some serious polishing. What's wrong? How do I fix it?.

This game is incredible
3/5

Console port is great, but the pricing is terrible. Here are some good things The *br*- A lot of fun is had in this game. Even though the PC version is a few years old (released in 2007), this game is now available The *br*- I have no problems with the port to console. The *br*- It is VERY easy to use the consoles on console. Until now, we've had a problem with console versions of games designed for mice and keyboards. But now they've figured it out and done a very good This application works well, and it has an intuitive user interface.
- This is what the visuals look like. It looks great graphically, and reading the text is very easy. There are two things that are wrong The *br*- In terms of The cost for this title is going to be full price A PC version is currently available for a fraction of its cost. If you want to play, and have a computer that even has a mediocre or low-spec machine, it's not an unreasonable price. For less money you can play it right now without a high-end graphics card. However, if you're a console owner you couldn't do it. You are the only person, it's how things are. The *br*- There is nothing better than having the expansion bundle. It completes the game so well and teaches you so much more. It will again cost you an additional $50 if you choose to get As a result, this is a must-play title for fans of Civilization and Civ You can think of fans as like that. It works really well on the console as I promise you won't be disappointed, but you might not be thrilled with the price!.

An incredible game but one that is insanely hard
4/5

My favorite game on PS3 is Civilization Revolution. I started out with the demo, liked it, so I purchased it. After learning how to play Civil Rev, I managed to make it through Deity (the hardest setting) with only a few losses. Civ 6 was announced in 2015 for PS4 and I was pretty eager to get it, but there was a catch As soon as I saw the book, I ordered a copy. It's an excellent looking game with fantastic graphics, however, the game is incredibly difficult. I can't even win on Settler (the easiest difficulty It seems I am winning the game until a few rounds before it ends, and yet I somehow lose the game. The worst thing is that there is no guide, and the in-depth questions don't make any sense There is a lot of poorly done explanations in the game tutorial. It should have been included with the game the detailed "manual" that can be found online. In this game, there is a great deal of complexity. Although it is not easy, I am still trying to improve my skills. The easiest setting would seem to be that, but it isn't. Losing is part of the process so patience is a must. I like it a They released it on the Nintendo Switch before the Xbox One and PS4. The fact that the DLC is so expensive is also a turn off for me In terms of PC, I believe it has been out for about 3 years now. I have updated the information on 12/10/2019 as follows I won a Culture game on Settler a couple days ago. It was an awesome feeling! Bringing it up to Chieftain, after some reading online, I realize how it works a bit more now. My original review has been reduced by half a star.

It was disappointing
4/5

Being a fan of Civ since the 90s, I've played it for quite a while. My expectations were high because Civ Revolution was great on the PS3. However, I was It would be great if there was a way to scroll from city to city with the L1-B It's not possible to use the R1 buttons. Encampment building, campus development, entertainment districts are not my cup of tea.
