I gave this controller a one star rating for each category since the faulty hardware negates any positives it could have had.
A friend of mine had recommended this controller to me, and at first, it seemed like a fantastic I have been looking into this for a little more than a month, and now the R2 trigger is always stuck. I get in the way of my gameplay in shooter games because my character would just spray away. I had also heard that another of my friends' triggers got stuck However, he had to wait a year before it happened to him. With controllers breaking so frequently these days, a year doesn't seem that bad, so I went ahead and bought the controller. Even though I was planning to buy an extra controller shortly after testing it, I purchased one shortly after that. A year is just not enough time for this controller, it lasted barely six months. My opinion is that a score of 2 or less is acceptable I don't think it's worth it to have a 12-month lifespan. If Sony would ship to Jamaica (or by any means allow the purchase of anything on their platform using Jamaican credit cards), I would go back to the Dualshock. It has really sucked for me because I cannot get an original Dualshock in my country for a price that is even remotely reasonable (most of the time). In addition, the one third-party controller that had good ergonomics for shooter games broke itself after a month and a half. I am really disappointed, especially since I make content based on my gameplay, and I have just been spending money on these 3rd party controllers without any success. I really don't like it.
There is something weird about finding a wired PS4 controller -- I've no idea why, but for whatever reason it is hard to find one. This is for my kid as the charging ports on his wireless controllers seem to loosen up and have trouble charging reliably after a few years. He was skeptical, since both the width and thickness are a bit different from a typical PS4 controller, Kontrol Freaks thumb sticks cannot fit on it, and the controller is a bit thicker, but not as wide as a typical PS4 controller. In the end, the kid learned to love this, and now uses it as his primary method of communication A controller has been initiated. Having dead batteries in the middle of a match due to controllers that don't charge properly overnight is no longer an issue.
This controller feels extremely small and uncomfortable in my hands, especially since my hands are medium sized. I can understand how it would be meant for someone with tiny/petite hands, but that directional pad is a pain.
This new wireless remote is perfect for my son. He won't need to worry about drifting. I can see only one weakness, being tethered to the console. Otherwise, I can't find anything wrong.
The controller certainly does what it says on the tin for the price, and because it has a long, sturdy cable, you are guaranteed a solid connection and the ability to play comfortably from a distance as well. As it should be, everything works fine. In addition to the smooth texture, the controller has a soft feel, which makes it comfortable for long gaming sessions where your hands might get sweaty. In comparison to the mushy feels of the dual shock 4 controller, the buttons on the Dual Shock 4 controller have a more tactile feel to them.
It is fairly reliable. I play NHL on it, as well as The Show, and I don't have any problems with it. There is a wired cord, but it's six feet tall, so I don't have to worry about tripping or pulling the cord out the wrong way. Overall, this is a solid replacement for the diamond-shaped device Here's the review Dualshock 4 has a rough texture.
A wired PS4 controller unlike any other has never been so good. This feels great, and the touch pad is superior to It's a great bargain for a product that's of high quality.
After being used to Xbox One controllers, I took the plunge and tried a PS4 controller for the first time. I found it impossible to use - it feels like it's not meant This is something I want to like, but I have trouble holding on to Except for that, the sticks are fantastic and the buttons work as intended.
