As far as I can remember, I first purchased these for the shoulder button on the R2 console, as the pressure switch did not function. I found that the rubber pad had a crack. One rubber pad was missing when I received these, but it wasn't a big deal since I needed only the right one. Neither the shape nor the build of the replacement pad is the same as the original pad. Despite our efforts, the trigger continues to malfunction. Inspection of the oem pad indicates it has a rounded piece that is closer to the controller. The flat piece in the new pad is farther away from the controller. For now, i'm going to get back to using hot glue on the cracked 1 while I look for a permanent fix.

This is not the first review of these silicon switches, and I don't know what caused other reviewers to have problems. Could they be fixed now? There is no way for me to My feelings about these switches are almost identical to those regarding the originals. Could it be that the users had grown accustomed to the mushy feeling from the aging actuators? My OG day one controllers were configured the way I want them. I switched all the R1/R2 and circle/triangle/square/x face buttons. There is no support for the newer controller versions with these. As soon as you get the newer controller version, I'm sure you will have a different shape. These have been my favorites since I was a child- I can only use one controller In my opinion, the silicon parts of the device are almost identical to the originals, with only slight variations here and there, and fit perfectly. I just got them and installed them, and I have no problems with them. I spent about ten minutes in total, although the R1/R2 silicon was a little difficult to place perfectly (you have to align the two pegs into tiny holes and be sure the lip sits correctly, etc. I needed small tweezers to do it right). Additionally, even though I have not tried them for long, the silicon material feels identical to the originals, therefore I see no reason for them to not last as long as the originals. It really is hard for me to understand what others mean when they describe My fingers feel the same rubbery silicon as theirs. However, the black contacts do seem thinner than OG's and do not have ridges as OG's do. There isn't any difference for me, so I am not sure if that will be a problem for some people and how it will feel different. I don't know. Maybe I'm too much of a filthy casual to notice.

In addition to the "D" pad, I replaced the four buttons pad as well. Worked like new when I received it. I'd rather pay a few dollars for a new controller instead of $46.

The product does work but it does not fit when taken out of the plastic bag! The buttons and triggers will work properly though, so I should not worry too much about it. I will however have to do some cutting so the button/trigger will fit nicely and snugly. Playing Call of Duty feels like I need to add more pressure and cut more because I am feeling really stressed as of right now. Ignorance is bliss, but the shape is horribly different. I've updated to It's not possible to use these on COD, so should be used only for racing games. When it comes to shooting accurately, I need to apply much more pressure than I do with aiming and shooting. Compared to the OEM ones that come with the controller, these pads have more resistance. These aren't even going to fit at first, so that is enough to make them a no-go. The triggers of your controller will feel totally different after using these, so I do not recommend these to anyone.

Just installed these trigger pads on my DS4 to replace the damaged rubber pads that have caused corrosion over the years. There was no button response in the triggers apart from maybe the last 10% of travel of pulling the trigger after the new batteries were installed. Not just a little toward the end of the journey, but input across the board should be taken into account. I am not pleased with my They still work better than these old ones, so I replaced them with my old ones.
