Erik kept getting this error message when I tried to invite him to my island. You're not getting an amiibo with that. Your amiibo needs to be that of a character from Animal Crossing. bought this card based on the description that said it would work with New Horizons yet it does not seem to work?.

I was pleasantly surprised by the results! It was initially quite surprising when I received the amiibo card since it was made of thicker plastic, and the dimensions were smaller than the traditional playing cards that I'm used to receiving from other amiibo cards
