Figure: This version of Captain America, in my opinion, is far superior to the previous two. Version 0 is available. This figure is so cool because of every detail in the sculpt. So, if you're interested in collecting figures, this is a must-have!! Figure Gameplay: br>br> Surprisingly, he isn't as tough as the other two. Version 0 is available. His special move is a bit of a dud. As a result, my four sons rarely opt for this version in toy box mode. However, because special moves and levels are irrelevant in 'Battlegrounds,' we use him in that game. br>br>Gameplay: br>br> You get to fight all of your MARVEL infinity characters in this game. There will be no Disney or Star Wars this year. Another oddity is that there are no levels, skill trees, or special moves to be found in the game. Each character has unique moves, but these are not taken into account in 'Battlegrounds' if you've leveled up your character and selected enhancements from the skill tree. Four- We bought this game because of the player-vs-player battles. This is a lot of fun for us. There are enough differences between the stages to keep things interesting. It's also a lot of fun to go up against all of our super heroes. My only complaint is that loading a new game takes far too long. Smash Bros. is something we're used to. which appears to load properly. It could be our Wii U, but I believe the game is slow because it is a sub-game of the infinity game. In any case, bringing Hulk, Thor, Venom, and Veronica together for a Battle Royale is a lot of fun if you don't mind the loading time for new battles. br>br>Overall, I rate this four out of five stars. Great figure, fun game, slow load time. br>br>I've had this for 6 months and it's still going strong. We haven't played 'Battlegrounds' in months because my boys prefer the gameplay of Smash Bros. to that of this game. They do play toy box mode, but because this version of Captain America isn't as tough as the previous one, they don't use him. As a result, Cap has made his way to my desk, where he will be joined by other cool-looking fanboy figures. br>br>Unfortunately, Disney has abandoned the concept of infinity. Even though I despised the price, I was enthralled by the figures.
I was under the impression that 2. 0 game play was too short and not a very good gamebr>This takes sucking to new heightsbr>The game play is like playing half of a mini gamebr>Can't believe they actually sold this as a real gamebr>U can't upgrade your skill tree without leaving and going to the toy boxbr>Complete waste of timebr>And they added a whole new unnecessary part where you first have to apply the experience points to your characterbr>St.
It's worth it for rmultiplayer if you have 0 and some Marvel figures. I understand why people are upset because this is listed as a "play set" when it is really just a 4-piece set. but as a four-player combat game player fighting game I think it's a good one, and I believe we'll play it again and again. Nobody cares about the story mode, but there aren't many 4 player fighters outside of Super Smash Brothers, and I prefer this open area approach to Smash's 2D. We paid $19 as well. The Captain America figure, which sells for $12, was included in the price of $99. Even if the figure is only worth $10, this is still a $10 4-star rating. player couch fighting game with a variety of game modes. We already have about 20 of the figures, as well as the game, so that probably helps. I would not advise anyone to purchase three of them. 0 for this, or $10 per toy if you just want to use it in this. Those who already own three, however, will not be affected. 0 and a slew of toys in need of some 3-D printing I believe you will not be disappointed if you purchase this game for four players. I realize there are a lot of "ifs" in there, but I believe it is clear who the target market is, and it is easily 4 stars for that market. br>br>Bought the Wii U version, update was already installed, and the game started right up, which was a concern for me because the Wii U doesn't always get the DLC that other platforms do. For those who simply want to try it out, both the game and the Captain America figure can be sat on the platform without having to open the box. You only have one mod to begin with, so complete the eight-part tutorial, save, exit, and return to access all of the vs modes and customization options. There are also six "power-ups" in the game. a time," but despite owning 45 figures, we don't have any of those, and the game provided its own power-up discs. As a result, they were not missed during battle. And, in case anyone is curious, the two Captain America figures do play differently. br>br>We also discovered this game together - I and my two sons - PSASBR is a lot better. Another SSB rip-off, but this time it's not very good. We only paid $5 for that one, so $20 for this seemed like a good deal.
It was difficult for us to put it down. We both liked how you didn't have to keep the figure on the base once you put it in the game. Aside from that, we like the idea of being able to play it even if you don't have a finger. This game is one of our favorites.
Upon arrival, it was in excellent condition. I would definitely buy from Amazon again for infinity characters because of the great price and quick shipping. br>br>This character and world had been on my son's wish list for a long time, and we found it on here for less than half the original price. It arrived the next day, and my son was all smiles. We play on an Xbox 360, and this world came with a cool trial pack that allowed us to try out any character in the world without having to buy it. Without a doubt, I would recommend it.
This and a few other items from this game were purchased as decorative items rather than for use in the game. Cap is one of my favorite MCU characters, and I thought this sculpt was fantastic. I also liked how he mimicked the pose from the original Captain America movie poster.
The play set is fine, but the game play is extremely repetitive, with you fighting various enemies in various arenas. There is no open world, and there isn't much of a storyline; additionally, the loading screens are extremely long, and they appear between each arena. I was expecting it to be more like the other Marvel play sets from season 2. I was wrong by a factor of ten. I would not recommend it, particularly given the cost.
