He adores the design, and it functions flawlessly. Because the charging cord is only about a foot long, we charge it in between uses. It just needed to be plugged in and turned on to connect to our PS3. There isn't any wacky ruse. Love it. Even if the PS3 outlasts the controller, I'm going to order another one of these.
I was hesitant to buy this controller because of its low price, but it turned out to be perfect, and I'm glad to have new controllers that work again.
It had a large chip in the finish right above the right joystick on the first controller. I received a replacement from Amazon, which contained the same chip as well as a few others. I gave it two stars instead of one because they do work, but the overall quality is poor, particularly in the finish.
I'm having some issues with it simply refusing to work in some places. . . but everything else is fine. My 6-year-old chose it for himself and was initially quite pleased with it. When it's working properly, it's still a favorite. I couldn't decide between three and four stars.
Finally, after 7 years, I can play my PS3. The controller appears to work, so I won't complain too much about it.
It's lightweight and simple to use. It comes with adorable paw pad covers to put on the controller, and it's very simple to set up.
There is no charge in these. To work, they need to be plugged in with the charging cable. It isn't worth it to use wireless. We ended up spending a lot of money on ones that also connect to computers for online CP play, and they work great and are well worth the extra money; cheap isn't good enough.
br>br>While this is acceptable for some slow-paced games, it is not recommended for fast-paced games. br>br>After a few more tries, I'm going to return it because button mashing for a single reaction command is useless.
