It was just delivered to my mailbox Having only seen these online, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. After reading some reviews, I was really disappointed. It is a small keyboard that was purchased primarily as an accessory for my n800, though it may also end up being used on my home computer if that doesn't work. While I do not have a playstation, the keyboard attaches to the controller which attaches to the keyboard.
It was thicker and Size 5 x 1 inch). A n800 cannot run it natively since it draws too much power. A powered hub is necessary to get the device to work, but it cannot be The blackberry type keyboard didn't suit the n800 for which I wanted more of a blackberry feel. I found it to be very handy for chatting, but a pain if I needed to use symbols (especially for web browsing, since addresses cannot be typed in). When you touch type, you tend to lose your position between keys, making it almost impossible to type. To enable me to use it without looking at it every 5 seconds, I am going to drill two small notches in those keys. There is only one symbol for which you do not need to press the symbol key, and that is the + symbol. Whether or not the Playstation uses this for something is not clear to me. In terms of range, it's pretty impressive, better than I had Tests have shown that the range is about 25 feet through walls. There is no way to know what the real range would be if there was In my experience, the range seemed to be better than a Bluetooth keyboard In terms of charging and leds, I have no idea what the other reviewers are talking about. There are 2 AA batteries required for this device. During sleep, the led does not blink, and even if it did, it has an on/off switch on the side. The only time it did blink was when it went out of range of the receiver. (Maybe it means the PC is sleeping. I leave mine on continually. ). The led goes out completely if the thumbpad is not used for a short time, and comes on again when you start typing again. This is something I'm thinking about keeping. A small keyboard would be useful for chatting and for a small keyboard. If you need symbols or accurate typing, neither it or any other keyboard would suit you.
This is just to say that I just found this thing while cleaning (I bought it in 2008) and even though it is still working, its battery still has charge! What a shocker! And it's good because I have no clue where to find the charger for it!.
It has everything I've ever wanted in a keyboard. I like how easy it is to use, and it does not require you to clip your controller to it at all. As I write this, I am actually using it. It is a wonderful keyboard, all in all.
Observations on the construction and its It feels as if the plastic is about to snap, and I can almost hear it cracking every time I mount it to my controller. There are several ways to fit it in, but they all lead to the same results. I feel the plastic is not of high quality, and I feel it could have been done better. In addition, whenever I'm typing, I have to press the buttons pretty hard in order for the keyboard to work, which not only disrupts typing and makes it difficult, but I could also feel the plastic cracking by the strain of pressing the buttons hard enough. Hopefully, this review has been helpful for you!.
The keypad is missing many keys that are useful on a PC (e. g. ESC, CTRL, etc. they can apparently be scripted in through There is a slight spongy feel to the keys, and the tactile feel of PDA thumb keyboards is missing, but this does not disrupt f/2. 0) but only when the KBD If this is bothersome, you can simply cover up the electrical tape with a piece of cloth. Using a USB charger can also be a concern It is not enough just to replace batteries if the battery runs out The battery will need to be recharged. There is no guarantee that it works while charging, but that kind of defeats the purpose. Considering such a niche market, I wasn't expecting too much, but had a pleasant surprise especially after the first three or four albums. For a price that's entirely reasonable.
