I finally cracked the code on an entire set from Amazon, finally got it all! Some sellers only sold the base or the base by itself, rather than the base and the adapter. So, let's go through the review of this product. One of the adapters has its micro USB port tilted down, with something inside of it also tilting. It has to be pushed in + down to fit into the controller, and then you have to click the back part down for it to stay In all other respects, the set works as expected with the exception of that weird adapter. Adapters for the micro USB connector are small and lightweight and click right into each other On top of each controller, there is a USB port. Is hardly a weight to hold, and it interferes with how I hold it at all. Then, when the controllers are ready to be charged, you put them into the charger base, and gently push them back in. You can feel the click of Then it will just charge! When the device is charging, the lights blink red while charging, then turn off when the charging process is complete. I much prefer this to other charging systems, which often leave the LED on all the time (draining energy from the wall and adding a glowing element to my entertainment system, which is distracting when watching a movie at night). Also, this set up does not put any weight on the microcomputer (I was worried that the USB ports would break once I used them a few times As I would prefer to replace my charging set up rather than replace my controllers prematurely due to the port failing), and it does not take up a lot of room In my room there are two pieces of furniture - my Wii U gamepad charging station and this stand. this is a worthwhile purchase and one that I would happily buy again in order to keep my full system charged all the time. I'll just have to wait until they're at a decent price once.

In comparison to the last charger I had, this one is more attractive. My favorite feature of the charger is that the controllers are very easily inserted into the slots. I find it strange how they do it because you have to attach a piece of the controller to the charger in order to get the controller charged. It is hard to remove the piece from the controller very easily, so if you have more than two, it is a hassle to remove it and put it on another controller. Additionally, I am not able to find any option of buying an extra piece for the extra. To buy an extra charging station would be more expensive than it would be worth for perhaps an extra controller, plus I would assume it would be much less expensive to just buy the attachment if one Due to the Dualshock 4 device not having the same charging socket as the Dualshock 3, I would really like to see the attachments released separately since the Dualshock 4 has a different socket. Having just one extra adaptor for my third Dualshock 3 would be great, and I would like to have two for my Dualshock 4, so I am not required to purchase a separate charging station for that console. Would it be possible for someone to reply to this review with a link to somewhere I can purchase the adapter, if later they do sell it or already do, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks a lot! Other than those issues, the only other problem that I have with the charging stand is when the DS3's are done charging, the lights just turn off, so it kind of makes you wonder if they are very fully charged because the DS3's flash when they are charging. As a result, it looks like the DS3 is just dead, so if there have been some kind of green light next to the controller slot that signified that the unit was fully charged, that would have been nice.

If, like me, you are tired of constantly leaving your Playstation 3 console on while you charge your controllers, a charging station that plugs into a wall might be a good option for you. My husband got me this one yesterday, and I've been using it without issue. It was originally sent to me by Warehouse Deals, an Amazon subsidiary that sells open boxes and used products, but it was missing the clips, so I was unable to use it. Eventually, Amazon sent me a brand new whole unit with everything included this time. (The first package was easy to return. ) Playstation controllers are the only ones that work with this device. It is not compatible with controllers from third parties. As for those products, I haven't tried them or used them yet, but if you want durability, then get a genuine accessory. The manual for this product indicates that the clips (charging adaptors) are sold separately however, this is not true. Besides the two clips (one for each controller), the players should also get their own manuals. If you are purchasing from a third party seller, ensure you're getting everything as purchasing those small parts separately will be difficult (Amazon does not sell those clips and Sony's customer support can only tell you that they would not be available for sale as standalones).
