This is incredible
5/5

This was a lot of fun. As a DLC pack, this isn't just any other. An expansion that increases the depth of the game is this one. It adds new maps, new aliens (very frightening), new customization options, a new terrorist group to deal with, a new alien resource that complicates objectives, genetic upgrades, cybernetic upgrades, and so forth. Strategic play has become significantly more interesting with the addition of the new aliens and the Meld resource. How willing are you to take risks in order Do you think you can risk separating soldiers from their units when there are stealth mode stranglers where they are? Soldiers can now switch between Italian, Spanish, French, German, Russian, and English once the mission is completed. I like it a lot. The absence of Asian languages is not entirely clear to me. However, there are also some pretty cool and humorous responses from new soldiers. The military can award medals to soldiers. The titles of medals and the effects granted to recipients can be customized. I consider Enemy Within to be a sequel in many respects. Each game you play is totally different based on the story twists and lots of options you have available. The choice between genetic advantages and armor upgrades must now be weighed in the right way. How long will you put off researching weapons in favor of building mechs? What if you risk killing them and losing all the improvement your soldiers have received by making them superhuman? Medals should be awarded (and their perks) among all soldiers, or should you award them to only a few? The gameplay has also improved in a few ways, which is pleasing to see. The ease of throwing grenades makes it easier to throw them It is easier to aim and control projectiles when using the new aiming features. Selecting a soldier will provide you with a clear indication of your movement options, including climbing paths. If you don't want to see annoying game ads and pop-ups, you can turn them off Your head scientist and engineer are making halting speeches. It would be a waste of time to disclose a ton of details here, so I will say just buy it now. The game is well worth the price. If you enjoy XCOM or science fiction in general, this game is an excellent choice. The Firaxis team knows how to make a great strategy game, so I hope they keep making new additions every year. I am just in awe of this.

The game has been upgraded with an interesting feature
3/5

The game isn't really much different from the previous version, and I still highly recommend it. A little more here, but the tale is pretty much the same. A lot of the characters feel scary, mysterious, and exciting to me, so I'm thinking I'd like the game. The only thing lowering my rating is a couple of minor things. First of all, the quarter turn viewpoint is terrible because you cannot really tell if you are in the perfect spot, or just "okay" in terms of where your target is. You should be able to stop the game anywhere you want it to go like most computer games that rotate 360 degrees smoothly. Secondly, I seem to always have difficulty leading soldiers to climb ladders and get on top of It's cool when it works, but most of the time, my solder moves from one place to another on the ground, and if there are enemies nearby, chances are they will be As a last complaint, every time you tell a soldier to get ready to fire at moving objects, you are forced to click on an "OK" box, as a message appears informing you that what you selected has been explained, and are you sure that you want to continue. It is good to learn when you are just starting out. You know what you want to do when you know what you want to do, which is 99 percent of the time. For most of the rest of the time in the game, the box SHOULD NOT appear. It's not that I hate Germans, but I am descended from them! The head of Manufacturing, who Despite playing on Easy, it is a difficult game.

I am in the advanced version of XCOM
5/5

Well, let me first say how much I enjoy XCOM since I think the game is exceptionally I like that it is extremely immersive with the options on how to build your base, what skills you can assign your troops to, where to launch satellites, etc. The game view on the base is basically a ant farm view, where you can click on different items within it. Choose wisely the depth of your excavation because the more you dig, the more expensive it is to build. This is a squad-based game, with a squad of 4 troops starting out and ending with In the game you experience an overhead view of the battleground with very limited visibility due to the fog of war. In attack mode, then, the view switches to 3rd person, which is basically an over the shoulder view so you can see what you're going after. My experience with this game is that I have played it both on the PC and XBox, both formats play great. The PC format takes best advantage of its graphics, but that's just my opinion. If you like the feel of the controller in your hand, go with the console version. I can assure you that you won't be disappointed in either case. If you sell surplus weapons and alien corpses and alien technology to fund your research and purchase of new tech, you can manage your money. But be warned, there are some new aliens as well as an extra layer of strategy to the game in this expansion. It's actually a group of human sympathizers, the Exalt, who are working with other aliens that you need to control. An operative is sent in, and 3 days later the operative is supposed to be out and the task is supposed to be complete. It is possible to accuse a country of housing Exalt HQ, but if you are incorrect, you lose the XCOM project, and you don't make any money. It takes a lot of missions to narrow down EXALT's location, but the more missions you do, the more likely it is you will find it. While the game stays close to the original, it does have a few differences Thus far, things have gone well It has not yet been beaten by me. My first run through this game has yet to meet the Alien resistance, but it's still my first play through. Additionally, the game offers gene mods after researching certain aliens. The mods are available automatically once you have researched the aliens. allows you to improve the strength of your soldiers' legs, so that they can jump on roofs rather than climb, and which allows them to You must spend cash and meld each time you upgrade a gene You can capture it in certain missions, as it is basically a gel. When you modify a soldier with a lot of genes, it takes a while for that soldier to become Sometimes I bring one soldier with mods while on a mission because they can be really useful. In addition to building your own Mec soldiers, another major addition to the game is the ability to play as other players. A living mec basically becomes your soldier My opinion is that it's pretty cool and very impressive. My usual strategy is to have two of these troops on every mission as they're very durable and immune to Chrysalids (sorry, that's the alien I hate so much!) But upgrades do get expensive very fast, so be cautious with the upgrades you buy. There are some nasty battleships on the UFO side, which I have to destroy. All in all, it is an enjoyable game that is extremely engaging. In addition to the original game, this one has some add-ons that you will enjoy. A huge variety of options in the game allows the game to have a lot of playability. It may be only downside for some to find that this game is addicting and that it will be the only game you play until you beat it. Be careful not to plan on playing it plus two other games because that is unachievable. The game I mentioned in the beginning is one of my favorites A total of 32 hours of play over two You'll love it.
