Questions & Answers
It's fantastic for all kinds of games. Because of its light weight and highly customizable dpi, it's ideal for gaming, particularly FPS games and Minecraft pvp.
I'd avoid "refurbished" or used Logitech mice because every time I've bought a used mouse, I've only been able to use it for about 4 months before the scrolling and clicking problems started. And don't even think about filing a warranty claim. It's better to buy it new, get a warranty, and get a replacement if there are any problems than to have to throw away a secondhand mouse after only a few months.
Yes, I own this mouse and have purchased hyperglides for it twice with no problems; simply purchase them from EBay. They are frequently sold in two-packs.
The mouse has a total of six buttons.

I was hoping to fall in love with this mouse. In fact, I was a big fan of this mouse. After trying a few other mice, this is the only one that checked all of my boxes. The size, shape, and battery life are all ideal, but less than three months after purchase, I'm already experiencing the double-click problem that this model is notorious for. I'm saddened, disappointed, and frustrated that my ideal mouse has become practically unusable, especially at this price.
There are a lot of scratches on them.
UPDATE: 4/4/2020br>Do not purchase this mouse until the Logitech GHUB software is fixed. Here's an example of what I'm talking about: I clicked install after receiving an update notification from the LG GHUB app. Isn't it simple? Wrong. After that, the software deleted itself, making it impossible for me to reinstall it. It will tell me to launch LG GHUB to complete the update, so I will download and install it. The issue is that I am unable to launch it because the required files are missing and the application has been erased! To make matters worse, they will no longer allow you to save your mouse profiles on the mouse, forcing you to use their shite software. software of the highest quality When the app DOES launch, there are a plethora of options available, including: don't work, don't do anything when turned on or off, or are extremely slow For example, I don't want my mouse's RGB to light up, so I turned off all of the RGB. When my computer restarts or goes to sleep, the mouse, on the other hand, glares in my face. Back at me, I get a flurry of RGB. So now I have to spend some time on the internet researching and figuring out how to re-enter my information. Install this scumware once more so that my mouse's DPI settings are correct. Good job, Logitech, on hiring the industry's most inept software developers!.
You don't need the responsiveness, and you don't want the wire feel. Overall, this is a great product, but there are a few drawbacks to be aware of. Let's get right to the point and explain why this three-star mouse is the best "gaming" mouse on the market (review is for right-handed users only). br>br> The design is straightforward and easy to use (layout). No awkward, unintentional hits are lost due to oddly placed buttons. br> It looks great, and the RBG adds to the enjoyment factor. br> The materials are pleasant to the touch. Grippy and soft at the same time. br> It's a great weight. I prefer to use the heaviest 'coin' insert. br> Response time is on par with the fastest wired mice. br> Sensor accuracy is unsurpassed, and I've tried everything. There are no skips in this. I can't get it to skip or stutter in any way. This is unusual because with flick type shots or 180 spins, I can make almost anything skip. Final Mouse, Rival, and Sensei are all missing from this list. Make sure you order the PMW3366 sensor rather than the older SKU. br> The software is simple to use and customize to your specific needs. Complete control over macros. br> There are no cord snags, which is ideal for competitive gaming, particularly FPS. Whether you use RBG cycling or not, the charge life is excellent. br>br>I know you're perplexed as to why there are three stars after so many glowing points. Read the second negative to see why this product does not receive a perfect score of 5/5. This is a major flaw in my opinion.
- The most recent sensor revision does not include a weighed coin insert. My old mouse's battery died, so I use it. For a mouse that costs so much. . . Logitech, are you serious?
- The mouse wheel is a complete abomination. It's a little stiff when you first get it, and it also won't scroll. However, the wheel quickly "breaks in" and becomes a complete mess. Mouse3 can have a significant negative impact on your life depending on how you use it. I've gone through a lot of mice, and they're all the same to me. It's a real challenge not to scroll when I press Mouse3 (middle button). Would you like to make use of the scrolling feature? Try to go one tick at a time, but it will go multiple times because it is so loose and flimsy. I'm going to die from this one button. The best mouse on the market is marred by a fatal flaw. It's strange, but this mouse wheel is one of the worst I've ever tested. The old school Logitech G400s is still the best mouse wheel I've tested. I suppose they're trying to cut costs in an area they believe is undervalued these days. It's a shame, because the rest of the mouse appears to be top-notch.
The shape and size of a mouse is extremely personal and subjective, but I've found that the G403/703 is nearly ideal for me. I use the optional 10g weight because I prefer my mice to be a little heavier. br>br>I've used a G403 wireless and a G703 (non hero) in the past. The original G703 was *almost* perfect, but the battery life was truly appalling. I'd get about 20 hours of use out of it before having to charge it. I can consistently get 30-plus points with the new Hero version. That's a significant improvement of 35 hours. Note on the software: br>br> br>Previously, I was controlling my G513 and G703 non-gaming computers with the older Logitech Gaming Software. I was forced to upgrade to the newer Logitech GHub software because the new G703 Hero isn't supported or detected by the older software. When I first switched the software, I had some issues with lighting effects not working properly. I had to uninstall both the old LGS and the Ghub software completely, restart, and then reinstall the GHUB software from scratch, and everything is now working perfectly. br>br>About the only thing I can think of to make this mouse better is a physical way to see how much battery life is left on the mouse itself, perhaps an LED indicator?.
