Issues with Durability: After about a year of ownership, the mouse began to double click on its own
3/5

It got to the point where almost every click was being double clicked. This is obviously a problem in gaming and any other software situation. I was so pleased with the mouse that I ordered a second one. After three months of ownership, the replacement has begun to double click. Despite the fact that the mouse is only $30, two of them have already broken after 15 months. In addition, I still need to purchase a new mouse. So that's $90 on a mouse in one year. 5 years. It's a pity, because I adore this mouse. It only lasts for a short time. UPDATE: I JUST LOST ALL OF MY WORK DUE TO THIS MOUSE DOUBLE CLICKING ON ITS OWN. BEWARE!.

Only with customized software can you get a decent mouse
3/5

The mouse is both inexpensive and comfortable to use. Although I would prefer a foot longer cable, it is a fairly standard length. I also wish that clicking the buttons required a little more force. Because I'm so used to the precise amount of pressure required to click with the ubiquitous MS Wheelmouse, I frequently click by accident. br>br>However, the mouse's biggest flaw is that it's barely usable without their proprietary "G Hub" software, which must be kept running in your tool tray 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Without it, the mouse defaults to a sluggish 400dpi and displays an obnoxious rainbow swirl led pattern that is, to say the least, distracting; however, if you install the software (which is currently wasting almost 100MB of RAM on my Win10 PC), you can turn off the led and increase the dpi to a more comfortable level. Personally, I prefer a resolution of 2000dpi. br>br>In short, I'm not returning it, but I'm not buying another one either.

Mouse is fantastic! This mouse is fantastic! If you're anything like me, you grew up playing Warcraft III, GTA, and Command and Conquer while ALT Tab'ing back and forth to AOL instant messenger, but now that you're in your 30s with three kids and a slew of bills to pay, you don't have as much time for games as you once did
5/5

If that's the case, you'll love this mouse! br>br>I was inspired to play after watching a Let'sPlay of Rimworld. My MBP's touchpad was clearly inadequate, and my Bluetooth mouse kept disconnecting every five minutes or so. The time is 7 minutes. I needed something accurate and dependable that didn't cost a lot of money. I did my homework and even delved into the gaming mouse modification community before settling on the Logitech. br>br>It works perfectly for what I need it to do. My only reservation is that it won't work on a Mac. It simply says "not connected" when I plug it in and load g hub. It can see it plugged in and recognizes the make and model, which is strange. br>br>After a thorough search of their support website, I discovered a small sentence stating that if you use a USB hub, it must have its own power supply. Because my MacBook only has USB C, I used both an Aukey hub and a C/A dongle, neither of which worked. Even when my power source was plugged into the hub for pass-through, I couldn't get it to work. through the process of charging br>br>At the end of the day, I'd say get this mouse. If you have the right equipment, it's as simple as plugging it in and customizing it. It's comfortable to wear and has a good sensor for the price. br>br>Ps, if you're wondering what the difference is between this model and the 203 prodigy, this one has a wave function lighting that sweeps around the back of the mouse, changing colors across the back. The older model simply alternates between colors. This mouse has a dpi of 8000, while the older one has a dpi of 6000. br>br>*Edit
Shortly after my review, Logitech updated its g hub software, and this mouse now works flawlessly with my usb hub. A ten out of ten recommendation.

For those on a tight budget, this mouse is a good option
5/5

Despite some of the issues I've heard about this mouse, such as a bad sensor or clicking issues, I've been very impressed so far and have had no problems other than the usual Logitech software issues. I paid just under $20 for this as well, and there was a 3-week wait because it was back ordered. I've been waiting a week for this package to arrive at my house. This mouse is going to replace my G303, which I've had for close to four years with very few issues except that it's worn, and which I may refurbish/modify and keep as a backup someday. br>br>Right now this mouse is going to sit as my replacement for my G303, which I've had for close to four years with very few issues except that it's worn, and which I may refurbish/mod and keep as a backup someday. Until then, the G203 is my daily driver for all purposes, at least until I find a better, possibly wireless, alternative. But, once again, $15 was too good to pass up, and I figured this would be a good temporary solution until I figure out what my "endgame" mouse will be for all purposes, including work from home and gaming. br>br>One thing that strikes me about this mouse, as well as the G303 (and even the G302, G305), is that it has that "egg" shape that fits my hand size and grip(s) perfectly. My hand is 17cm by 10cm in size, and my grip is somewhere between fingertip and claw. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I prefer that the mouse cable is rubber rather than braided because my G303 was fraying after only a few months. Similarly, the material used on this mouse is different from that used on the G303, and it is unlikely to shine after extensive use. It also has decent skates/feet, but if you want more glide on your mousepad, I would definitely recommend something like hyperglides as a replacement. br>br>Taking care of the elephant in the room - This mouse, according to YouTube and Reddit, is a downgrade from its relative, the G203 Prodigy, because it has a lower-resolution display. Some even claim that there is a problem with double-checking the quality sensor. clicking. So far, after a week of use, I haven't experienced any spinning out or strange issues while playing games, and I don't believe there is any double clicking. Furthermore, neither of my previous two Logitech mice had any problems with clicks or sensors. br>br>In terms of complaints, I'm not a fan of the DPI button, and it could easily be pressed by accident. Another issue is that, unlike my G303, the scroll wheel feels a little harder to scroll, though the texture is nice. Finally, and not unique to this mouse, the Logitech software, in both its current and previous versions, is buggy, and I wish I could change settings without using the software.
