Although I am not sure if it will work with Wii u, it works with the older games from Nintendo
A Y screw will do if it's a hex cap screw
This is a 1DS, not a 2DS XL, so I am not sure if it will work. Tripoint and Y-shaped screwdrivers are 5mm long.
It is true that this Y00 screwdriver works on the Nintendo

Small proprietary screws are compatible with the product. I don't know what the good thing is about it other than that. In fact, the material of the bit itself is essentially "pot metal," so too much pressure will surely break it off. When the bit snapped off in my case, it didn't just snap, it began to grind away as fragment after fragment of the bit eroded against the much more durable This is not a good purchase. There is a chance that it will work for a few minutes before it stops. It is better to get a kit from ifixit rather than DIY. There should be no reason to worry about the quality of the build at hulu. com or elsewhere.
Hubby trimmed the rest of the screw so it can be removed, but the rest got stripped when he tried to open the back side of the switch controller. It would have been better with a slightly larger screw. By prying the controller open, we were able to reconnect the control board, but the switch has stopped working. A problem with overheating has caused the unit to shut down, a occurrence that has never happened before. Ideally, you could just buy new controllers, but it seems that all of this great stuff is not offered by Covid. China, thank you so much for all you do!.
In the process of playing with his Nintendo Switch, my son dropped it. The only part that was damaged was the controller, whose side rail snapped half way out of the housing. As there was no way to push the controller back into place, I had to open the controller using the right tools. Having these perfectly fit and allowing for no slippage or problems when removing or reinstalling them was essential. There were other reviews to this product that talked about screws stripping, and that worried me a bit. I could not have expected it to be so easy, but this tool made it possible.
My first impression was that the metal handle of the screwdriver is very nice, and I was pleased with it at first. Unfortunately, while trying to drive back in the screws on my Switch (which I found was going very slowly), the tip of the screwdriver crumbled away. My first concern was that I had stripped the screw, but it didn't happen. Product looked great but would likely use two or three pieces for a small job and not to keep for the future.
It worries me that the "Y" bit screwdrivers included with those Nintendo Switch Joystick replacement kits are a little soft and can be stripped. You can save a lot of time and energy with this screwdriver, as it is alot better made! If you have a lot of old, crappy joysticks that need replacing, we highly recommend this!.
The sheer number of great reviews I saw for this makes no sense to me. It wore out so quickly after it had only been used for a few screws that it was almost useless. After we opened all the screws on the Nintendo Switch, the tip was worn out so badly that I couldn't get out the remaining screws even when we were half way through. The screws were damaged by doing a lot of force and causing some damage to the tops of the screws. By the end of the process, even getting screws back in was challenging. Unfortunately, these aren't pretty pictures. It is true that I do quite a bit of work like this with small tools, but I am quite accustomed to doing it myself. Quality is not what we are looking for. I could understand how others would give it such high ratings if they have some quality fluctuations - otherwise, I could not understand how they could give it such.
The only reason I took some time to inspect was because I had already stripped two bolts. It means a lot to me! It would be nice if I could still remove them somehow.
I found out the hard way that my screwdriver was easily worn out the moment I stopped using In the first instance, it stripped both the screw and itself. I can no longer use it to open my DS, even with a good screw driver, due to how bad the damage to the screw was. My screwdriver is obviously old and I definitely need a new one or better one.
