I was able to get right in. A kid I know somehow misplaced the kickstand to MY Switch, and had "no idea" what to do with it. My replacement unit worked perfectly from the jumper and I just popped it right into the unit. As if it were stuck in the unit, it was stiff and cannot move. With a 7-pointer, no dangling is allowed The abuse occurred 2 months after the 14-year-old was abused. It is possible I would buy it again, although we hope we do.

The item was snapped off by my kids without telling me. I found it to be astonishing that this item could be replaced at all. I had to go shopping for an original replacement piece after finding out the original piece had gone missing. I landed on this for the first time, and I found it to be very simple to install. Once again, the switch stands upright. I think you should just get it and move on to your next life task.

In many posts it has been mentioned that it is easy to install because it just pops into place. You can use your own screwdriver instead of the one included. The only complaint I have is that it is difficult to open in a hurry. There is no problem in getting it out.

It just. . . The day I wasn't there was a day I wasn't there. Thanks to this kickstand, it was as simple to install as it was to remove the original. Put it in and it will work. In my memory, I did not need to remove the case or even use the tool. I've been keeping it attached really well.
