I was pleasantly surprised at how fast and easy shipping was No charge. Ordered two days later, and got it two days later. It is advised to search YouTube videos on how to install the joy sticks if you do not have instructions with the kit. You won't believe how easy it is. I probably took 15 to 20 minutes to do it It is difficult to predict how this product will perform down the road, but I am satisfied with my purchase so far, and my controller (which I had given up all hope of) is back for more Mario Kart, more Super Smash, and everything else I can toss its way. One of the benefits of this kit is that you get 4 replacement joysticks and all the tools you'll need to repair If you don't have to spend over $50 on new controllers, it's a small investment that pays for itself.

In the end, you only realize how tiny and delicate everything really is when you have it apart and are cursing your tweezers for the 7th time as you try to grasp another ribbon cable. You might be able to do the job if you can work on small electronics or have the hands of a surgeon. But for a guy with sausage fingers like mine, the task was quite challenging. It was pretty easy to get everything done. I lost a screw or two, but they included There is definitely a difference in feel between the original and the replica, which is more rigid. As a start, first off, my joy con analogs were so bad that I couldn't even turn them without pressing as hard as I could without damaging There are some positive aspects to this report As a result, this kit did the trick. Your joy con analogs can be repaired with all the tools in the package. There is something for everyone with the multi tip screw drivers, since they are magnetic and of the right size. The tweezers are everything you'll need to gently separate components from the connector and the pry tool is incredible for removing the plastic cases This kit is probably the best in the world. Despite all of that good news, here are some not so good things It's a good thing there are four analogs on this, since I replaced the 2 on my pair of joy cons, but one still drifted downward. I have to confess that it was very minor and could easily be corrected, but it was still annoying when you set the controller down on Animal Crossing for a moment and then get back to the game you are After that was said, I replaced the analog with another provided one, this one works great, but I am not too happy that 1 of the new ones failed but it's okay because such things come up from time to time. I was unable to turn right on my left analog due to the rubber covers on the analogs. The rubber was completely wrapped over the knob, but it still would touch the controller when turning right, preventing it from making a right turn. Therefore, you do not need to use the rubber covers. This is a good product, I would probably buy it again in the future.

It is likely that you have already replaced one of the switches, so you have already purchased the As for this one, it is too expensive because for 26 USD you get so many things (garbage) that you do not need, such as

1. A brush, b2. Three suction cups - one for glass, one for plastic. The grips are of low quality and the number is four. 1x SUPER CHEAP Storage Box (wrapped with a rubber, as is so cheap that it does not close)*5. The GARBAGE screwdrivers are two extras, so there are four screwdrivers that can be used only two of them. So you can see from the SUM above, the garbage is not necessary, but it does not come for free. The joycon spare parts they sent with the unit came with all the garbage. I asked them if they would only replace them, but they refused. So far I have installed 4 and they are working, but I'm going to look for a less expensive combo with less garbage in it.

Even after updating the calibration and calibration process, the joysticks still drifted and had deadzones. 2 pairs of joycons will be fixed with the kit that I ordered. I have replaced the first joycons with these when the first set arrived. After installing one set of sticks, I noticed this movement on the other side. I replaced the first set with the second supplied in I found the deadzones to be appalling. I was unable to reach the bottom of my right stick. Both calibration and updating have been tried. It may have been just a dud kit, but we returned the first one. The second kit came in and I had to replace them again and again. The other two I am not going to try. You will not be able to use them. I would not recommend this kit to anyone.
