Yes! Simply look up a YouTube video on how to change this and see if you're capable of doing so. I had two sets to replace, and my 15-year-old took care of it. All of them are fantastic!br> It was something I should've done a long time ago.

Are these sticks more durable than the ones that came with the console, or do they use the same technology?

They aren't OEM, but I believe they are of comparable or higher quality. Within six months, one of my Joy Con pairs began to drift, and within a year, the other pair began to drift. I replaced all four sticks on both pairs about six months ago, and everything has been fine since then.

I used the latches for a full-size switch that were included in case the joycons didn't stay locked in place. The left stick has been replaced, and it is now operational.
