Occasionally I notice my laptop getting a little warm when it is under pressure. My monitor was in a typical spot on my desk, but I wondered if I could move it to a different spot, just to see if it would actually benefit from The cord allowed me to move the laptop higher on the desk where it would get more air while still having the ability to access my accessories ( mouse, keyboard, USB hub). The laptop is being charged at the same time. If you don't plan on coiling it up after each use, and leave it at your desk, it works fine. I use it to connect my laptop to a hub in order to connect to a monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, and other gadgets while I am charging. My experience with it so far has been great. I have not used it very long, but so far it has worked well for me.

It seems to be well-crafted and I am sure it will last a long time. It is a stand I bought so that I can move my iPad around while remaining connected to a wired network and also allowing it to keep The choice I made was NOT a good one for my needs. You will find this extension cable to be too stiff if you intend to connect something and keep it in place. However, if you expect to move freely around, it will serve your needs perfectly. The first time I unwound it, I had to work a bit to get it straightened out, but once I did, I could hold it straight up above my head for over 1 foot.

I will keep on looking since I need something portable. You're not going to find it here.

The cable came with my dock which was very short, so I bought this to connect it to my MacBook Pro. It allows me to connect my TV and external hard drive to it. The product works like a charm for some reason that I was skeptical of. As soon as I connect it, I can connect multiple devices on the same port and have power, display, and connection all at once- It also has plenty of cord left over, which means that I can move around my couch to my heart's content. There are some USB-related issues on my port. I see some USB-related issues on my port There is a lack of consistency and looseness in the C connections. The current version does not suffer from that problem, and hopefully in the future it will be standardised.

The latest devices I am getting these days use USB type C cables instead of USB type A. The problem is that they're usually only a few feet tall (about three With the addition of this extension cable, the length is almost 10 feet longer.
