The answer is no, it does not. The number of cables we have sold exceeds tens of thousands. We have not heard from any customers who are concerned about the switch being bricked.

Our team does not have a Switch Lite, however you may be able to charge it with a power bank if it uses the same kind of cord. The regular switch we use allows us to do this all the time.

Therefore, it can't charge fast enough, and will gradually lose its charge even when connected to the wall. Switch turns back on fast charging automatically as soon as it has cooled down. There is no solution to this except to play with fans to help keep the system cool or to take a break every now and then. Switch's safety features prevent the cable from charging fast enough if it isn't charging fast enough.
