As a result of getting the XL I had to buy a new case. My XL is a perfect fit, even with a case protector on the XL! In fact, I don't usually use the strap to keep the camera still I pull it out for quick and easy access. But the strap makes it easy to secure it if you're afraid it'll fall out, which it never will if it's Over the past two years, this case has been tossed around and not treated gently, but it is still in almost as good a state as it was two years ago! The zippers have worn paint, but they are otherwise in excellent condition. The stylus loop also can be used to carry an extra in case one is lost. A great design on the front of the phone features 8 bit Zelda characters. Although it is slightly raised up, it could possibly catch on things in your bag or whatever you choose to carry it in, but I have not encountered that problem. If you are a zelda fan, whether new or old, this case is a must have.
The Retro Zelda set I bought about 2 weeks ago left me quite disappointed. I honestly thought it was really cool and had not treated it roughly. Now I need to play my games on my break at work, so I took it out of my bag and found this. Assuming the piece was one piece, I was wrong once again I am thoroughly disappointed. As I purchased the Pikachu themed case from HORI as well, you will find that this review is very similar to my review of that case. mean, both of them are almost the same case, only the aesthetics are different. You did a great job. It comes with 6 slots for any New 3DS/3DS/DSi/DS games, which is good if you are bringing this along on your travels (and why else would you use it? How about aesthetics? There should be more than enough games for you to play.
