For the first time in years since my original Nintendo DS charger had been lost, I could recharge my original Nintendo DS with this replacement It is also relatively compact - it is about the size of a credit card. I already owned a case for the original Nintendo DS that fit the newer model. There is no genuine Nintendo charger here. It doesn't matter as long as it serves its purpose, The product is great. I highly recommend it.

This charger has the same reliability as the original. This was a great charger for my wife because her original one died and it is just as good as the aftermarket one.
