sort of. Let's get one thing out of the way. This charger is capable of completing the task. When my regular charger was lost while traveling, I used it on a 3DS XL and was able to continue playing. br>br>However, this charger still has a lot of room for improvement. For starters, it's a slow process. My 3DS XL took about five hours to fully charge, and I wasn't playing at all during that time. br>br>My other nitpick is that it doesn't seem to like charging the 3DS while playing at the same time, as the charge light would flicker, which is annoying. I'm not sure if it's because of a lack of power or how it works- I'm not an expert; all I'm saying is that the charge light flickers a lot while you're playing. The flickering slowed down after I reduced the brightness of my 3DS screen from 5 (maximum) to 3. br>br>I always recommend that you use the charger that came with your system (or a similar replacement). ) This will suffice if you are on a tight budget or simply require a charger while traveling. It's just not something I'd use on a regular basis.
My son is an avid gamer! He spends the entire day on his handheld console playing these games. I try to persuade him to do something else, such as go outside, eat dinner, or converse with me. He can't seem to take his gaze away from the digital game device long enough to carry on a meaningful conversation. I'm not sure when he last took a shower because his eyes are bloodshot. I'm willing to go to any length at this point. My only desire is for my son to be returned to me.
After a certain amount of time had passed, the charge was completed. After about ten minutes of playing Professor Layton and the Curious Village, I realized I didn't want to hold a stylus again.
So far, after a month or so of use, it's working fine. br>br>Wall wort looks very similar to the old charger that came with my 3DSXL, but with 3rd party markings on it. br>br>Cable is 3 ft, which seems adequate but is the shortest charging cable I own from a wall socket; 3 ft is adequate for USB chargers but is a little short for a cable from a wall socket. br>br>Box art was odd; I get the impression I wouldn't have recognized it as a charger at first glance and would have passed it up if I were looking for one in a store, but that could just be me. br>br>Edit: I've been working for six months and haven't stopped.
With the release of the 3ds XL, I love how much the 3ds stuff is dropping in price. I paid $3 for an extended life battery and $1 for this guy. br>br>In general, it's nothing special. It would have sufficed even if it had cost $13. But only for a dollar. They're only $75, which is a great deal. I got one for my house, one for my girlfriend's house, and one for my parents' house, so I never have to worry about running out of battery. I'm hoping they don't lose a lot of money on them.
It was excellent and precisely what we required. When it's difficult to find just the right part and it's no longer available in the store, I'm hesitant to buy something online, but this was exactly what I needed, and thanks to the detailed product description, I knew I was getting the right thing before I agreed to the purchase!.
Right out of the box, I plugged the charger in, connected it to our 3Ds, and it worked perfectly. The charger is a perfect fit for the 3Ds, and we've had no problems so far. The other charger was eaten by the dog, so this was a good buy for us. The charger's cord is only about 3 feet long, and that's the only flaw I can think of.
Excellent product with prompt delivery.
