I'm about 6 feet tall. As long as you have the original 3DS charger, you're good to go.
Which one do I have? I have a Nintendo 3DS, and it charges with it. I've had the charger for a year and have had no issues with it.
Yes, I purchased it for the DS2, and it functions perfectly.

This was purchased two months ago to use with my new Nintendo 3DS XL. It worked perfectly until two days ago, when the cable began to short out. This is typical of most chargers, but what surprised me about this one was how little it was used. I only charge my DS every few days because the battery life is adequate for my needs, and when I do, it sits near my bed with the charger plugged in nearly all of the time. If I had been carrying it around with me every day, tripping over it, wrapping it up a lot, or subjecting it to a lot of abuse in other ways, I might have thought it was reasonable for it to stop working so quickly, but that was not the case here. If you don't have anything else, it'll suffice, but I'd recommend having a backup (even if it's just a DS compatible USB cable) in case you end up in a situation like mine.
My grandsons are incapable of remembering where they left the device, so a third recharger was ordered. They're a great price, and I'm sure the dust bunnies under the furniture are having a blast with them.
A shake of the charging box revealed that the cable was dead and that it was completely empty. Normally, you would feel some weight inside, but this was completely weightless!!.
The AC Adapter has exceeded my expectations. It works perfectly, and my grandchildren are overjoyed to be able to play their Nintendo 2DS once more.
Finally, my children are able to enjoy themselves.
I'm confident that it will be a big hit with my son.
I initially received a defective unit, but the seller promptly replaced it with a working one at no cost to me. The new one functions in the same way as the official one. The cord, on the other hand, is a little bit shorter.
My daughter misplaced her Nintendo 3DS charger and wanted to order a replacement (which she promptly discovered the day after we received it in the mail). But it's nice to have a backup, and it works flawlessly.
