The headset we are using is probably our fourth one. Despite my tech skills, I am unable to get these games to work on my Xbox One or Xbox One S. When I plug it in, it shows it's recognized, volume is up, and it's unmuted, but there is no volume projected through headphones and I cannot be heard by the party. It is extremely frustrating, and I am.

As far as I can tell, the microphone arm can be positioned quite differently. However, it cannot be increased in proximity to the mouth despite its swinging downward. The term 'down' is the word 'down', while 'up' is the word 'up'. I suppose you may decide to leave it somewhere in the middle. Despite the low sound quality of the microphone and the headphones, the sound quality is good. In light of the price I am not regretting my purchase.
