What exactly is the issue? It is very useful to me
5/5

br>br>I don't think Nick "Master Modder" even bought one of these. br>br>I don't write these reviews very often, but I had to offset the negativity surrounding this product. br>br>What do you people expect?br>br>I don't think Nick "Master Modder" even bought one of these. He appears to be oblivious to the nature of the product. He had no right to write that review in the first place. )br>In the event that P. If Hoppes "Rhino" wanted a chrome faceplate, he should have just gone out and bought one. They do sell them, and they are generally less expensive. His gripe was completely unfounded. br>I have no idea what Eric L. is talking about. Expected by you. I don't see how any other paper would look better than this one. It all boils down to the quality of your printer. I also don't see why you couldn't lay it on its side (though I prefer to keep mine upright). br>br>I have a decent printer, and there is a beautiful painting of H. on my Xbox right now. Thanks to this awesome kit, it has H. R. Giger's alien creature on the front. It's ridiculously simple to work with. Simply set your printer to a resolution of 8 pixels per inch. It will print fine on 5 x 14 legal paper, and the software is very easy to use. You select an image or images, arrange them as desired, and then apply effects such as grayscale, sepia, inversion, shrinking, enlargement, or rotation to them. br>br>This kit accomplishes its goal. If it appeals to you, go ahead and purchase it. Take these negative reviews with a grain of salt.

It's not all that it appears to be
3/5

The faceplate's clear layer is thick and bulky, and it's not easy to peel away from the dark grey faceplate. The paper isn't glossy, but the glossy plastic makes it more difficult than it should be to see the designs. br>br>The paper is thick, with slotted cuts all over so it can mold to the shape of the faceplate; however, the pieces removed for all of the different slots are oversized, allowing a lot of the grey faceplate to show through. br>br>Unless you're willing to go with the cheapest vendors, I can't recommend this product. (Mine was only $5, so it's not a huge loss. ) It's a case of "you get what you pay for," as they say. Decalgirl, with nice glossy vinyl coverings, would be the way to go for customizing a 360 face plate. They also do custom work, including faceplates, controllers, and both sides of the XBOX, and they'll give you a freebie if you do a custom job that they want to use in their store.

There's no limit to what you can do
5/5

I have to say that I adore this product; I paid $10 for it at TOYS 'R' US and got MUCH more than my money's worth. I began by using only the included inserts. Finally, I went to the Nyko website and discovered that there is a community for exchanging free custom-made displays. Since then, I've begun to make my own. br> I can't say enough good things about this. I've recommended it to a few friends, and those who have tried it rave about it. Some users have complained that the photo editing software used to create new displays isn't particularly impressive. I agree with you, but it serves its purpose. It has a lot of photo editing options, and if you REALLY want to do some complex photo editing while putting together a display, it has a lot of them. I recommend that you follow my lead and do the same. Use whatever professional photo editor you have to tinker with the photo, and then upload it to the display maker and customize it to fit, and you should be fine. Even at full price, it is well worth the money. You're paying ten times as much as you should. Not one, not two, but more than 15 displays for the price of $20. A standard 360 display costs at least that much, and you're stuck with the one you have. You have a near-infinite number of faceplates with this option.

This is fantastic! Have you ever wanted to customize the front of your XBox with a favorite image? (Favorite video game character, movie star, work of art (anime? ), motorcycle, etc

) ) Manufacturers of faceplates, on the other hand, are unlikely to create something tailored to your needs. It's all standard fare. To get the faceplate you REALLY wanted, you used to need to be pretty good with an airbrush and have amazing painting skills. br>br>Nyko, on the other hand, has made it as simple as it gets. Simply print your desired image, snap it into the cover, and BAM! You've received precisely what you desired. Others have complained that the Nyko Gameface paper included in the package is of poor quality and does not have a glossy finish. So what? Make use of the highest-quality materials possible. Then it's time to put an end to the glossy photo paper! You may use any paper and printer you desire! Then, using the Nyko paper as a template, mark where you want to cut the holes. It's not that difficult; photo paper snaps easily into the faceplate case; I wasn't sure the thicker photo paper would mold to the contours of the face, but it does so flawlessly. br>br>Nyko designed the software to be as simple as possible, so you only need to know a few things to get it to work. It accomplishes the task at hand, is extremely user-friendly, and performs admirably. If you don't like it, you can change it with any image editing program! Print an image that is approximately 3 3/4" x 11 1/2" and cut it out! Done! If your printer can handle 13" wide paper, two of your faceplate designs will fit on a single sheet of legal size paper, or four on Super B size paper. You could also use an 8 1/2 x 11 print, but it won't fit on the faceplate completely. The grey ends simply resemble designer stripes and are not a deterrent in the least. ) If you print from your image editing program, you can use the highest resolution your printer supports, ensuring that the images are perfect. You will never find a faceplate as cool as the ones you can make for yourself in a store. And, if you wanted to, you could make a different faceplate for each day of the year. br>br>Someone claimed that the 360's faceplate prevents it from lying flat. So, right now, I'm looking at my 360 on the table, which is perfectly flat. I'm not sure what he was referring to. Furthermore, none of the other complaints are true. There isn't a single flaw in this product, and it has a lot of positive aspects.
