So far, the only one that stands out is an Xbox 360 Elite, which I was able to install on an arcade version of the Xbox 360.
These belts should fit any of the disc drives, so you should be able to use them as well.
I'm not sure what I'm saying. The belt's inside diameter is exactly the same as a nickel coin.

I wasn't sure if these would fit on my ORIGINAL Xbox, but I went ahead and bought them anyway, and I'm glad I did. I replaced it last night, and the tray now opens whenever I press the button! The Xbox was given to me in this condition (the Disc Tray wouldn't open, and the power cord, AV, and breakaway cables were all missing) because the previous owner didn't want to repair it. No one had responded to the question of whether or not these belts would work with the original Xbox. They most definitely do, I'd like to say. When my friends and I want to play Halo 2, I don't have to be embarrassed about sticking a paper clip in it anymore!.
I'm giving some old XBOX game consoles a new lease on life. The majority of the issues with these old guys stem from their o- The rings on the DVD drive can become loose over time, preventing the drive from opening. I bought it because some reviews stated that it is also suitable for the OG XBox. They are, however, a little loose and could be a millimeter or two smaller to ensure a better fit. They mostly work, but the disc drawer's belts have some slop in them, which you can see when operating it. Time will tell if they stand the test of time, but the Xboxes are already over 20 years old. Better options are shown in some on-line guides to reassembling the Xbox. Best of luck!.
Today, I installed these on two 360s, one of which had a faulty tray. The credit card trick worked for one, but you'd get nothing from the other. I took apart the Xbox 360 systems and cleaned and greased the rom player, as well as dusting and cleaning the rest of the system. Both disk trays now work perfectly after I installed the new belts. As a side note, I gave it four stars because the first order was returned as undeliverable. My second order was placed on the same day as the first, but it was not delivered. It was a windy day when it arrived, and it had been a windy day before that. The Amazon delivery person could have tucked it under the front rug, but he didn't, and it blew away in the few minutes it took them to leave and me to open the door. If you're shipping alone, just be aware of the wind on that particular day.
I've tried it a few times already and it's not working. These were purchased a couple of weeks ago. Because the belt on my internal Liteon DVD/CD/Blueray burner was slipping, the tray wouldn't always open. The new belt is smaller and thinner than the old one, and I installed it on the drive, which now works flawlessly. I've tried it several times and have never had any issues. They say it's for Xbox drives, but it worked perfectly on my DVD drive. UPDATE: 2/20/18 I purchased these belts about a year ago and used them to replace the one in my desktop P. I only have 9 DVD drives left out of a ten-pack. The best way to determine the size is to take a belt, lay it flat on paper, and insert a nickel coin into it perfectly. They stretch a lot, but they shouldn't slip at all. See pic.
They worked perfectly on an Asus drive and an HP 1140 dvd drive, but on an HP 1270 dvd drive, these belts were a little too tight and kept opening and closing the drive nonstop, so I had to revert to the original belt to get that drive to work properly. The distance between the center of the pulleys on the HP 1270 drive was greater than the distance between the center of the pulleys on the other two dvd drives where the belts worked fine. These new belts were designed to fit around a nickel (5 cent coin), whereas the HP 1270's belt was designed to fit around a quarter (25 cent coin). br>br>Aside from the HP 1270 fit, I'm happy with these belts for getting my other drives up and running.
I only needed one, but I'd rather have a new belt than have the old one rejuvenated. br>br>As stated in the headline, it was a perfect fit, and the eject function has been restored. br>br>The other nine belts may come in handy, so I'll keep them in my O-ring collection. Perhaps in the future, I'll make rings and other items to use.
Because the item arrived quickly and exactly as described, XBRdepot receives a five-star rating. Please keep in mind that these drive belts will only work on DVD readers that are attempting to open but are having difficulty - "Read" isn't an option, and there are other issues to consider. I've used two of these so far, and they've both restored the Xbox 360 DVD drive's ability to open and close like new! It is not necessary to disassemble the Xbox for the Phillips/BenQ and Lite-On drives. With a bent paper clip, a little dexterity, and a pop of the front cover, the old band is out and the new one is in- You have completed your task. It's as good as new if you snap the front cover back in place. For me, this was a good investment.
When the weather isn't cooperating or they're tired from playing in the neighborhood, I have seven grandchildren, five of whom still enjoy playing video games. br>br>They range in age from 7 to 13, and they don't all like the same games (except Minecraft, which they will play for hours). As a result, I have a few old, white XBox 360s that I bought on the cheap. "I'm not opening my DVD tray today, so there!" was a common refrain among them. " affliction In most cases, the problem can be resolved by replacing the drive belt, which can be done without opening the case from the outside. The only thing I needed was a new drive belt, which this package provided. br>br>This package solved my problem. It only takes a minute to replace the belt after I get the door open, and my grandkids are ready for another long day of MineCraft, Boarderlands, and Halo. br>br>The replacement belts appear to be of higher quality than the originals, at least from what I've seen so far.
